best way to clone my old hard drive to my new one?

I have tried to clone my new WD with my old Maxtor drive useing norton ghost. Well i got a blue screen next time i started up. Dose anyone know any good programs I can use to clone my hard drive with? By the way im running win 2k.

There should be 2pretty prominent prog's that I know of right now..."Drive2Drive" (i think that's the name) and NOrton Ghost. I went ahead w/ghost because of the name behind it and it worked great. Copied all my partitions w/all 3 of my os's and it worked great.

Go to the WD site and download their free drive utility. Follow their instructions to format, partition, wipe, test and copy to any WD drive. Easy.

WD and Maxtor retail HD's come with the transfering and coping software, or you can download it for free at their web sites.

I don't know if the works in win2k however.
