Best way to destroy laptop?

I was given an old IBM Thinkpad that doesn't work anymore (mobo's fried), and told to 'have fun'. suggestions, anyone? I'll be filming this and posting it later..

all the data is in the hard drive, the rest of the laptop does not deserve to be destroyed

as for destroying the hdd...take out the platters and shatter them

yes, but I'm sure the order to destroy it is to protect the data that's on, he could probably get the mobo fixed and put in a new hdd...

otho, putting in a new mobo...might as well buy a new laptop

I would say, atleast save the screen and pimp out his case!

I was thinking about trying to save the screen (i'm assuming it's still good), but i'm willing to sacrifice the whole damn thing as long as it dies a good death and looks good doing it.
