Fellow Golden Flash here!
I was able to get one off Craigslist 2 weeks ago for a friend (also a Kent State alum) that was the Mario Maker bundle sold at Target for $299. I got Mario Maker, Windwaker and New Super Mario U installed on the internal hard drive. He also had purchased 8 additional SNES games, mainly RPGs. He listed the system for $250, I offered $225 and he bit. When I arrived, he mistakenly listed that it had Mario Kart 8 installed, which it did not. He knocked $25 more off, for a total of $200. The system was MINT. The controller even felt new (mine is very worn). Talk about a steal.
If you're not in a hurry, there are great deals to be had on Craigslist. Always contact them and ask what's the absolute least amount you would take for it. Sometimes, you'll be surprised.
