Best way to get rid of a cold?

Argh!!!

I caught a cold last week, and i can't shake it! I've been taking Zinc, Echinacia (sp?) and drinkin lots of OJ. Anyone else have some good ideas to get rid of it quick?

Well seeing as there is no cure for the common cold I don't really think there is anything you do. Just let it ride out. If you take the other people's suggestions that will calm the symptoms but the cold is going away until it wants to.

Try a coney island (hot dog) with everything, extra onions. And a good strong coca-cola to wash it down.

I got a cold and my brother give me a shot of tequila. Feels like I'm gonna die, but then in the morning the cold went away. Give it a try man got nothing to lose..

When I was a kid in Vietnam, my mom used to crush out the juice from garlic and put a few droplets into my nostrils. It was very painful. The pain overcame my cold for about 2 minutes. Then back comes the cold.
Don't do this!!!
Drink lots of fluids and rest.
