Best way to ship international cheap?

I have a possible buyer for my i7 870, but he lives in Ireland. (I know I said CONUS, but I trust him) I now need a way to ship there from Texas for cheap, but not "crush $250 of PC parts" cheap. Ideas? I have UPS at around $100 and USPS at around $70.

Why do you think USPS is going to cost $70? How much does this weigh? It is not much more than a pound is it? If so I would just use First Class Package International Service for $20 or so.

The question of crushing is not primarily determined by the service you use but how well you package it.

You wont have to do anything. He might get hit with VAT which is something like 17.5%. Mark it as a gift (computer part) put a $50 value on it and send it on its way.

You just have to get paid and send it over anyway, if it gets stopped, it's his problem.

Which excludes you from purchasing insurance in case something inevitably goes wrong.

USPS isn't a bad option. I just shipped out a bunch of custom PCBs. Cost me $3 to ship within the US. One guy ordered from Belgium and it only cost meme about $7 to ship to him. Not too bad.
