You can even setup a subdomain like http://webmail.noskillz.com

Under $14/yr, beats anything Hotmail/Yahoo has to offer.

100MB
Do you work for them

damn, i was gonna use that email address, but page doesn't exist................

(maybe time for a new registration)

If you use MS Outlook, you can actually integrate hotmail as an HTTP account.
MIght suffice.

Ok, I did all of this, purchased GottaWantIt.net

Now, I went to the domain site, namecheap.com and went to modify nameservers to "custom". I put in the ones from ripplehost and is that it? It should prompt the user for a name and password if I'm not mistaken. Sorry if I'm totally wrong, I'm a noob like I said.

mail.com is not very good. It is slow to navigate, and messages take a long time to get to you. I tested it by sending a message from a different email account to my mail.com account and it took 2 hours before I could see it. I use yahoo and messages get there instantly.

Surprisingly Netzero is very good. I used their free dial-up service about 5 years ago ... never knew my account was still active. They asked me to start using their email service or risk losing it... so I did to try them out... the site is FAST and the outgoing emails are clean with no advertisement footers. POP3 address is pop.netzero.com ... Try them...

Netzero email

Zapo.net is another good free one that provides a ton of space, but I haven't had a chance to use them much in the last year.

Congrats and I'm glad that you took my advice.

First you should go to www.namecheap.com login with your username and password, modify your domain, update name servers, select custom name servers, in the first and second box it should show:
NS1.RIPPLEHOST.COM
NS2.RIPPLEHOST.COM

Then you should go to ripplehost.com's website and sign up for their $4.99/yr plan, wait for your welcome e-mail.

If you did everything above, your domain should propogate by tomorrow morning and you're ready to roll.

Their parent company is SplashHost.com which has a good reputation on WHT (although they did have some down time recently).

They could go out of business at any moment, all of these webhosting companies could go out of business.

Just make sure to save your websites contents on your hard drive regularly (at least once a week) and IF they go down, find another webhost provider.

Now how can all the people I made email accounts for, check their email through the web? Like, what site would they type in for the url instead of the old mail.yahoo.com? Thanks in advance.
