Best website uptime monitoring service?

Does anyone use an uptime monitoring service for their domains? What are some of the good was that you use/used. Optimally after the site goes down the service ends an e-mail or text to admin

I doubled checked, if you look at the demo, you can set it up to alert you at an email address.

It does a lot more then what you are looking for, but it's pretty cheap.
