win2k was super reliable.
Personally, I find Linux to be far superior to Windows in general.

Windows Me is totally warmer and more "real" than Windows 7.
Task manager I'll grant. But, what do you people do that makes Windows 7 so slow to boot up? I can barely get a sip of coffee between POST finishing and seeing the login screen, and unless there were just some major updates, POST takes at least as much time as Windows' booting up. I haven't noticed Windows 8 PCs being faster, at least not by enough to notice.It boots up faster and I really -really- like the new task manager.
