1st wave came in Saturday... 45 envelopes back so far, 125 sent. 50, 50 and 25 at a time - so I suspect ther 45 were out of the 1st 50. Wonder if I'll see the other 5. But of those 45, 22 were $3 BB Bucks, plus 2 breakfast meals, 3 large burgers, a breakfast sandwich, 1 small mcflurry, a few fries, and a few small drings.

When they come back you get 1 bb buck ($1 or $3) with the 2 game pieces AND another with 2 game pieces.

On the online game, I've won 25 prints twice...

Online I won a free ringtone. But because I have Verizon Wireless I can't get my free ringtone. So I get to download this really crappy time waster game instead. I'd rather have the rington.

Ah someone else who can't read... If you'd go back and look, the vast majority of this thread is about getting game pieces WITHOUT eating there. Aparently your rabbit food isn't helping your brain with your reading comprehension. Now go away troll...

Well then your BB ain't playing by the rules (note the section I BOLDED) :

Best Buy Bucks? Terms and Conditions
To redeem Best Buy Bucks? at a Best Buy? retail location:
To use toward the purchase of Best Buy merchandise in store, present to the Best Buy cashier at the beginning of the transaction. Limit of $3 in Best Buy Bucks may be used toward the purchase of any single CD or DVD. Limit of $300 in Best Buy Bucks may be redeemed per customer per store visit (all visits to stores in the same day are deemed a single "visit"). Limit 3 of any 1 CD, DVD or video game title per store visit. Identification may be required when $75 or more in Best Buy Bucks are presented for redemption. Value of Best Buy Bucks is doubled for the purchase of Geek Squad® computer services (in-store or in-home) when the transaction takes place in Best Buy stores only. Total purchase amount of merchandise (before taxes) must be equal to or greater than the cumulative total of Best Buy Bucks redeemed. Cannot redeem a Best Buy Buck for partial value.

So if you're limiting people to $65 then why the rule about $300 per visit, and ID after $75?

I went Best Buy yesterday to get FEAR. The lady said i could only use $3, not 3 BB coupons. I tried to explain to her that three BB coupons can be worth $9. Obviously, she wasn't about to change her mind and I lost my temper while trying to explain it. So I got $3 off a $55 game. whoohoo/sarcasm..

Probably got caught up with the $3 limit on CDs and DVDs. They kind of threw video games in there with the dvds and cds as "limit 3". That limit 3 is a bit redundant considering the $3 limit on CD and DVDs.

Then again they could have meant to limit video games as well to the $3 and just screwed up the other way - omitting it from the 1st part.

It says limit 3, not $3. You should be able to use 3 BB bucks/coupons towards a purchase (up to $9).

Sorry, but you all can't read. It means you can only get 3 of the same title per visit, not 3 "best buy bucks pieces" per title.

For example, you can only use $3 per copy of Finding Nemo on DVD, and buy 3 copies of it, for a total of $9 in bucks. You can use AS MANY BUCKS AS YOU WANT on anything else, up to $300 total per day.

Well I for 1 did mess up in reading it...

I took it as "limit 3" being on the BB bucks not the per title. That's pretty silly... Unless they're expecting some titles to be limited in availability. But why then make the limit just to bb bucks customers? Why not all customers?

But by strict interpretation he shouldn't have been limited at all on the video game. The $3 limit is on CDs and DVDs. And one could reasonably argue that THEY made the distinction between CDs & DVDs vs. video games when the specifically included video games in the "limit 3" sentence, hence they are separate categories by their own admission. But then getting into semantics and logic with a cashier and/or manager at a retail store is pretty useless normally.

Side note question - Does BB (in-store) carry AMD processors (by themselves not in computers already - just to be clear)?

This is toward a game, not music or movie DVD.

And from what dboy pointed out, it should have been unlimited amount of BBBs. (Although a game may be on a 'single Cd or DVD' , and may fall under that category)

Hi, did you end up doing this successfully?
Did you enclose a small note, or just send the 2 envelopes?

Never did it... The scanner is up in the old computer room which is where the nephews are staying (Hurricane Katrina destroyed their house). I've been handwriting them.

I use a #6 3/4 envelope for the SASE for them to send back. I just put that addressed side towards the flap in a #10 envelope. It's been working w/o problems so far. I just do 25 or 50 at a time while watching TV. Well actually sitting in the living room. Since the nephews are here, I have no more TV privledges.

Here is a tip for those of you saving up all your Monopoly pieces. I happen to be the clumsy girlfriend of someone who has been sending in SASE's to the McD Monopoly game 2 years in a row... He would keep the Monopoly pieces sorted in little piles on the TV, and I would repeatedly knock them over, making a big McFlurry of a mess. I devised a great way to store them and keep them sorted... Use an empty ice cube tray! Each ice cube mold is just the right size for storing Monopoly game pieces. This is how I keep the desk nice and neat, as the SASE's continue to come in each day...

By the way, it has been pretty good this year. We are getting mostly $3 Best Buy Bucks in the mail. But no big prize yet... How are the Snickers McFlurries?

We don't have Snickers McFlurries here. M&M and Oreo are all the 2 McD's that I've been to have had.

If anyone in interested in my question earlier about BB carrying AMD chips in-store. Called the local store and was told that "they are supposed to start getting some in mid to late November". Whether the guy's right or not who knows...

That has been the question asked many times...

And I don't think anyone has as of yet been willing to test that theory out.

ok i'll play it safe and hand-write them all. The postage price kills me, but I just keep thinking I'll make it all back.
I'm only 15 so paying $37 just for 50 SASEs seems like alot
but I want the new Ipod so It's all worth it

So is it ok to fold the inside envelope?
I just sent a few in this morning to see what I get, but all the envelopes I had was the same size, so I just folded the inside one in half...
