bestbuy is selling the HP Pavilion f1503 15" LCD monitor for $450 with a $50 mail-in-rebate, BB f1503, HOWEVER when I went to the BB in Knoxville TN they had about 14 of these monitors and 3 seperate displays with HP computers. 2 of the monitors wmarked at the above price BUT the one at the very corner though correctly labeled model #'s matched etc was marked at $380 with the $50 MIR! I asked someone working there and they didn't know why this was BUT said that whether it is incorrectly labeled or not since it is marked at that price I would get it at that price! The register of course rang up $450 plus tax so I had my buddy go get the slip and the girl at the register gave it to me at that price but then said she would like to keep the slip at her register incase someone else tries to buy the same monitor so they would not go through the hassle aswell.

I am not sure if this mistake was made at others BB's aswell or if the one I went to fixed the problem but worked out well for me, $419 w/ tax - $50mir, $369, not too bad I think. Hopes this helps someone else.

No kidding. Why would anyone settle for a 15" when they could get an 18" for the same dollar amount?

well I love the monitor because it does have the thin frame, very small foot print, and the dual hinge that makes the monitor glide up and down effortlessly it can be amost half a foot off the floor and goes down so low it looks like a regular monitor sitting on the desk with no clearence... plus it's not a generic brand (which can be good or bad)
If you DID want this monitor though, looking into this could be good.
That and the f1703 17" model of this monitor was i believe $600 with a $50mir.....

This is truely a hot deal! Well, for $380 + $27 for tax at roughly 7%. You are paying $407 out the door and then get $50 in rebate. Your final cost is $357.00 for a 15 inch LCD with analog input and whatever specs it has. I gotta go out there and get me some. J/K. You got robbed by worstbuy. As the holiday is approaching, you are better off returning this monitor for this kind of price and size. I got a Dell 1901 for $325 shipped. I won't be able to duplicate it again but I will surely not pay more than $250 for a 15 inch. Good luck!

i wanted this monitor! lol wel before I saw the lower price. BB had a 14" lil MAG lcd for 250 with a 150mir! I've looked online and any decent LCD with a decent brand on it is a lot of $$$$ at regular price! Several ppl mentioned dell LCD's and though i am not a bug fan of dell I looked around just now and nothign they have even comes close to what you ppl have mentioned and i refuse to buy a 22" wide screen LCD for $99.95 by Sonie lol. I wanted THIS monitor, it is one of the nicest I found in my price range (there is a nice NEC and Samsung i would prefer but don't have the extra $300 i would need to add to the price of this one).

Like I said if you want THIS monitor this is the best price I found it for. If you are looking for said monitor above, skip this thread lol

i like hearing about price mistakes REGARDLESS, hot or not
anybody who has been around here knows deals can sometimes be made hot with additonal info
thanks for posting, and don't let the trolls bog it down

Wow, I have to agree with everyone else, that's a fortune to pay for a 15" LCD. You could definitely pick up a "name brand" 17" for a similar price... I'm not sure what exactly about this HP monitor was so great, but have serious doubts that it's worth that kind of price premium.

I wouldn't recommend buying some totally generic brand LCD, but any of the major manufacturer models should be fine and should compare favorably to an HP.

You might wanna look at WallysWorld $376.42 and maybe the rebate is good too! Rebate
I still gotta agree with the others though. You should be able to get an lcd tv for this price. HP relabels monitors. It could very well be an inferior product with an HP tag. You gotta look at specs and such Planar is usually a great deal at great specs.

250 cd/m^2 brightness, 350:1 contrast, 1024x768 @ 60Hz, 35ms total response time.

$330AR isn't really a deal. Compare it to even a Dell monitor that isn't on sale and with no rebates, either: Dell E151FPp. Same specs, same price but without a rebate.

This Planar PL150M-BK has better all around specs (25ms, 450:1, 300cd/m^2, 75Hz input) and is the same price, too: PL150M-BK

Sharp and Viewsonic models are cheaper, too. This is the deal season and you can get a much better monitor than that if you look for a hot deal.

gawd, if you bring that garbage LCD into hot deals, you should be flamed upon.

I bought my 1800 FP for like 380 shipped from dell. That was like 4 months ago.
