i hope so. it's my first time ordering from them, tho their customer service sounded excellent. It was actually $1699 - 50 (online coupon) - 7 (unnamed cashback =P ) = $1642. I must have been dizzy from throwing down that much money when I said $1659.

rage you should consider ffdShow for post processing. LoTR DVD will be much more enjoyable.

Looking at the pics the screen looks kind of heavy on blue. Is it just the camera or does it really look like that? Also looks a little washed out, but I'm thinking that could be because of the camera since the room is dark.

Back when this thread first started they were $1199 locally, but i wasn't local at the time and missed the sale.

So when I got here they were $1899. I waited a week and checked back and it had a red tag that said "Manager's Special $1599" I'm going to assume that they are making room for the version 2 37", which will have HDMI and built in tuners. The only draw back is that it is only 1360x768, but will retail for $1699.

I dug this info out of the bestbuy computer when the guy went to see if they had anymore of the version 1's in the back.

EDIT: They are also getting the 42" 1080P and retail was $2599, both showed as back ordered.

my friend got this, and it's amazing. It looks brighter and better than his 19" Samsung LCD! He took off the speaker portion on the bottom to make it look thin around the edges. He got the Charter HD DVR package, and uses it as a secondary monitor! amazing never the less.

i'm curious to see how it looks without the speakers. i heard that you can see empty bolt holes. does your friend have any pictures?
