Westinghouse Digital Electronics, one of the top five LCD TV manufacturers in the U.S.*, today announced its new LCD HDTV, model LTV-37w2, featuring an integrated ATSC tuner to display over-the-air high-definition digital signals, the company?s innovative SpineDesignTM, and five HD input connectors.
?Our consumers now have a choice between our 37-inch high-end HD 1080p monitor, with eight inputs or this new 37-inch HDTV with a built-in tuner and five inputs,? said Rey Roque, vice president of marketing at Westinghouse Digital Electronics. ?Westinghouse Digital is bringing LCD TVs to the mainstream market at price levels competitors offer about six months later. We drive mass adoption of LCDs, giving consumers a superior choice over CRTs, micro display projection and plasma displays."
The LTV-37w2 joins the Westinghouse line of HDTVs, which includes 27- and 32-inch models. Featuring five HD input connectors, users can watch TV or DVDs, play video games, surf the Internet, work on spreadsheets or view digital photos. With a VGA connection and 1366x768 native resolution it doubles as a PC- and video-editing monitor.
