You mad bro? You can go ahead and waste your money since you probably have no life outside of your basement. I have better things to do than scour the internet for an hour and trying to find out if DLC is good or not, its a complete waste of my time and i'd rather move on to a different game or go out and do something on the town. All I know is most DLC sucks, all DLC i've ever tried sucks. If you like scouring the internet for DLC reviews and waste your time while being a lowlife basement dweller, more power to you, scumbag.

I am not even sure why you guys like these elder scrolls games. I have never been more bored than the 3-4 hours I tried to get into Oblivion to attempt to justify my purchase. Holy crap bad.

I really like the idea of entering into a sandbox world where, since its not MMO oriented, I can progress at my own leisure without my friends passing me by. I like the lush environments, etc.

I did not like Oblivion though. The whole 'portals to hell' thing and the heads on spikes, etc. is not really my thing. I like a less edgy fantasy world like Dragonlance or Forbidden Realms. LOTR, even Game of Thrones. Just don't make me run through hell or something that dark.

Some of the Dragon Age, Oblivion and Fallout DLC are among the best gaming I have experienced. All three of those titles also had some utter shit DLC. Judge each by its merits instead of being a petulant dickhead.

ME 2 is a great example as well. Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC was probably better than the main storyline missions.

Well, its not a game for everyone obviously. Everyone has their favorite type of games. Oblivion fans will love this game for example. Skyrim is suppose to be the true sequel to Bethesda's hugely popular Morrowind. Morrowind fans have been asking for a sequel for a long long time now and its finally coming out. The pressure is on Bethesda though to see if they can deliver a top notch Class A RPG game like they did in the old days.
