Lets take these one at a time, shall we?
For one challenge the elitism that was so pervasive and shined a light on parts of America which were ignored or forgotten before.
By elitism you don't mean rich, because Trump is a self proclaimed 3rd generation billionaire that literally has a golden toilet, what you mean is smart and well educated. The idea that smart people are leading us and finding solutions to problems seems to bother you. I'm not sure what I can say about that other than it does not really work out very well when you let dumb people find solutions to problems. I would have thought that was obvious.
Came in and said globalism isn’t the solution to everything, we get cheap goods but it does a lot of harm to the US as well.
All while claiming to head a global corporation. Also, note that while America claims that they don't want the globalism, we certainly don't want to pay for native made goods. He complained about a problem, but offered no working solutions. It is all anger and bile but no cure. Here is a tip, only listen to the people that offer solutions, not the one that just complain about the problems.
That he did, but with no goal in mind. Destabilizing our government with no path to a better one is not good. While our government might have problems it is much better than anarchy.
Takes a more militarily isolationist approach compared to prior admins.
Yes. Which is a very bad thing. That approach never works. It has been tried again and again by practically every government in the world and has failed every single time. Like it or not we can not ignore the rest of the world. All the systems are intertwined you can't separate one strand out of the web and expect it to stand.
Voice what’s on people’s minds and tap into the frustration people have at the offended by everything culture these days.
And offered no solutions. Anger does not for good policy.
In effect just turn political thinking on its head, there’s no more business as usual politics. The norms are gone as they should be.
Those norms you talk about were there to prevent corruption. They were not perfect, but they had a purpose. Without them there is nothing to stop the abuse of power. You voted for rule by people that are dumb, emotional, and self serving. Do you really expect that to be better?
