Exactly. He is not truly a grass roots candidate. He is a shiny object that attracted big donors because they thought he was the key to Texas.Who donated though?
According to all polls I have seen he's polling around 8% or so... and has a massive amount of funds raised in the first 24 hours... It's possible but probably not from small donors...

In short does Beto's amount of money raised reflect grassroots support or support from the Monied Interests? Given the details that CNN didn't report because they didn't have the information and won't until FCC is told by law I'd bet on the latter.
