I waited out Breaking Bad until my wife started watching it. I seriously wanted the whole series to run its course before watching anything....and I succeeded. My wife finally picked it up and we watched most of it together the past few months.
I didn't care for the advertisements for Better Call Saul that have been on AMC the past few seasons because they just show Saul and Mike standing there. Since I hadn't seen BB at that point, I didn't know who they were or what it was about. I get it now though. It's a cool idea for a spinoff, but I haven't watched any of the BCS show. I expect it to be a 4-5 season show.... It jsut
I'm just getting tired of these series where they keep trying to surprise you and keep you hooked. It's what I call "Lost-Syndrome"...the story is written week to week and each episode seems to follow the same format of surprise/shock/plot twist. It always makes me feel like I'm being strung-along so I lose interest quickly. I never cared about Lost or Walking Dead for these very reasons.
I still prefer the sitcoms and series' that are written where each episode can stand on its own without having to know what happened last week. I don't want to be manipulated as a viewer unless it's by a skilled actor. Breaking Bad was ok writing, but I really was there for Bryan Cranston. The side characters didn't always stand up to his caliber of acting.

Yeah....Mike's tough. The mug on the guy is rough enough...I agree.
I watch this show mainly for Rhea and Mike. He looks really old this year though.
I say "Dont mess with Mike" every episode. He is now tracking them with their own device!
