Wish the episodes were longer. Looks like they take time building up but I think its going to turn out good. I kept waiting for more to happen but before I knew it the episode was done.

I agree, but BB had the same pacing. Just like when watching BB, I find myself glancing at the clock every 15 minutes or so. "Okay, they have x minutes to get something done here". Then right at the very end they deliver. I don't think this is a bad thing. The whole long drawn-out drag-you-along-with-a-line-of-floss worked really well and made for great suspense and character building.

I don't put it in the same league as BB, but I also have the bar for BB set VERY VERY VERY high. When Jimmy went to the Kettleman's house, the music from Porter was classic BB.

Oh man. I love this show already.

I binged on Breaking Bad after the series had already concluded. The weekly wait for this show is going to kill me...

I dunno about that. I don't think it's possible to enjoy a show any more than I have enjoyed this one so far.

So far, the only thing I didn't like was the acting and dialogue of the skateboard twins. That really is the only thing.

I'm sure some people think the Kettlemans are too fake, but I've met crazy home-schooler families that acted that way.

Its only 3 episodes in, but quite simply for me, the first 3 of BB are better than the first 3 of BCS. Every time people talk about the best shows ever, they mention how good The Wire is, I couldn't even finish that boring ass show. Its not so unique and jaw dropping, that's what BB has brought to the table IMHO.

The first few episodes of BB weren't enough to hook me, especially because everything resolves at the end of the first episode and there is no unresolved tension. I had to power through.

Better Call Saul had me hooked the moment it showed Tuco in episode 1 because I knew the ramifications. Episode 2 sealed the deal, especially after the PTSD date scene mid-episode (really felt the damage to his psyche). Episode 3 was pure buildup bliss, which is BB's signature. So far, it is like dropping in to BB right as it hit its pacing stride.

BCS is off to a far more interesting start than BB was. I actually started BB three times. At other people's strong urging, I pushed past the first half of BB's first season on the third attempt, at which point it stopped requiring effort.

BCS requires zero effort from me.

I know what you mean, but I had the opposite experience. Episode 2 felt like a full episode when I was only halfway in.

Tuco and Nacho are played by some amazing actors. They both feel real to me.

Nacho has turned out to be a surprisingly interesting character, he has a lot of presence. He looks really familiar too...like a cross between that dude from Prison Break & Orlando Bloom, but latino.

Although I love Tuco's biplorism. From grannies boy to psychotic nutjob in a second

Nacho's smile at the end of episode # 2. It seems so genuine / polite; but it also seems to have a dual meaning. Like: "I can be your best friend, but I can also be your worst enemy."

This show should have been called "The Tuco & Nacho" show and have Saul as a supporting character.

It's the Tuco/Nacho intimidating unexpected nutjob hilarity that keeps fans hooked.

We'll get to that. It's in the works, but not scheduled to begin until 2017 or 2018 when BCS winds up. It'll be perhaps the very first SSS, or Second Sequential Sequel.

How am I privy to this info? Well, my SSS, or Samsung Super Smart TV, not only monitors everything I say, it talks back.

Which is why I'm not going to start until it's a good 5 episodes in. I might even wait until the season is over. llol

just caught up on last nights episode. glad to see we now know exactly how saul and chuck are related and why he cares for him so much.

really liking the show so far though. it was awesome to see mike and saul actually have a friendly discussion as well, and especially how mike's advice helped him find the family.

i thought they were going to be in the boat that they showed outside the house, but not quite lol.

yeah i'm not posting anything in spoiler tags if it's already aired. i can't stand when people do that in general (as was done up above) because to me that isn't a spoiler since it already happened, and this is the thread about discussing the show.

when something is in spoiler tags in threads of this such, i'd expect it to be something about upcoming episodes and possibly spoiling it.

Yeah. Interesting how Mike abruptly stopped impeding Jimmy/Saul the instant he realized Jimmy was working with a Mexican gang member.

after this season is done, we will forget who walter white is. it's all good man.

I don't know... BB had a nice supporting cast of characters, and gave us a driven plot that kept the big hits coming right from the opening scene. It kept delivering. The talk in the desert was nice, but would have just been another BB moment...

I hope they know where they're going with this.
