Yeah, it's not just you. :\
I wonder if he looked up her shoe size too. D:
I forget off hand, but yeah it was in that bio also. Why not go take a look

I wonder what Mike is going to do with his "soaker hose".
Those nails probably aren't good for the rhododendrons.
The opening montage of the trucker doing the dead drop to pick up a gun in the desert was a pretty clear harbinger. Especially after Mike spent the episode watching the truck and trying to figure out the movements of Hector and his crew. It seems likely that Mike is making a spike strip to disable the truck, the $64,000 question is why? He's not the type to go all cowboy, stop the truck, whack the driver and steal the cargo. What is he going to do after blowing the tires?

Yeah, I was being sarcastic - thanks Cpt Obvious.
That doesn't work around here. Too many people are too stupid and too capable of missing hints that are too obvious. The sarcasm detection gene starts to short-circuit because it's thinking "nobody could be that dense" while simultaneously dealing with people who are indeed that dense.

I don't think that hose would be very effective for a spike strip. The nails are too long and the hose is too flexible. It might work but there's a good chance it wouldn't. You'd need something where the nails are held more rigidly and preferably angled in the direction the vehicle is coming from.
Of course that doesn't mean anything for tv. On tv, even the stupid ideas work.
I can't imagine what else it would be used for though. I was thinking a type of caltrop but I don't think it work very well for that either.
Is Mike going to shoot Hector, thus placing him in a wheel chair?
That or the driver....
Pretty sure Hector's going to have a stroke, possibly brought on by Mike's actions. The Salamanca's would not have their tenuous relationship with Gus and Mike if he shot Hector.
