better PSU?

I'm building a system for a friend, and the cases I'm looking at include either a:
-420W Turbo Link PSU
-400W Smart Power PSU

Now, since I doubt he'll ever power his machine at, say, 410W, the power difference doesnt matter. However, which company puts out a higher quality PSU? Or should I just look around for a more reputable company, such as Antec/Enermax/etc?

PS: This will be used to power a XP 1800+

I recently upgraded to an Antec TruePower 480, I works very well. You can read up on the specs at their website.

In my experience, and I am sure many will agree, Antec makes the best PSUs.

But between the two that I have listed, which is better? Will both ADEQUATELY power a 1800+? I know both antec and enermax make good PSUs, but I want to know if the ones I listed will work, or if people have had problems with them

I would want the powersource that creates the least amount of line noise that gets played through the speakers.

My Antec 300w smart power supply creates a soft yet notceable high pitch wine through my speakers.

Free shipping on all but the case ($15), which puts the total to $564.

This is assuming my buddy wants to take an existing HD that he has and use that, an arguement that shouldnt be too hard to make.
