$100 for a TOOTHBRUSH!?!?!

Wow I must be old school, but I still use a $2 plastic one that I replace every month or so. Getting the free ones from the dentist keeps my costs down

-Got $$$?

i use the sonicare 7500 for over a yr now and it's great. even my dentist noticed after 6 months. he was asking if i was doing anything different b/c my teeth are whiter and cleaner. it was the sonicare

the only issue is that you have to replace the heads every 6 months or so. they run about 11 bucks each.

Says the person who bought and is now trying to sell his PSP. It's worth it for the toothbrush

I recommend Sonicare and I am a dentist. But, the most important thing is flossing. And it's how u brush too, don't expect miracles.

no matter what I use, and no matter how good I brush and floss, you always insult my own care for my teeth. Do you guys get off on that you sadistic freaks. You suck at brushing, let me be clumso and I'll stab your gums with a needle, nevermind my own bad breath.

From a user who uses both:
Sonicare:
It's powerful, and it feels good. The built in timer is also useful. You can definitly tell it's cleaning your teeth, but if you have sensitive teeth it's hard to get used to.
OralB:
The head is nice and small. It's much easier to meneuver than the sonicare. You can get it all the way back without hurting your jaw. But to get it effective you are going to have to push it down harder against your teeth than the sonicare. Oh I also noticed the brush heads don't last as long as the sonicare ones.

You gotta take care of your teefs! Dental health is not worth skimping on. A $100 toothbrush will last you years and your teeth will never be as clean as these modern toothbrushes can get them. Or you can get dentures when you are 40.... your choice.

Sonicare owns BTW.

I used to use Oral B but I converted to Sonicare. You're supposed to replace the head every 6 months.

I have that Sonicare, and it's a beast. Leaves you with an amazing clean feeling.

Bump.......just 'cuz!

Looked at 'em today. Looks like Sonicare's come down in price a tidbit & Oral B's still up there. Maybe Sonicare just 'cuz it's cheaper??

My dental hygenist said that her husband uses Sonicare but she uses Oral B. (I couldn't figure out why the heck they'd use 2 different systems when they have interchangeable heads, but figure she's a D & most of 'em are a little obsessive about oral health so why not both, right?)

I own both and think the oral b does alot better cleaning since the head is more manueverable. My dentist never noticed the difference with the sonicare but did with the oral b. So oral b for me. I use the sonicare to detail my car now

I had a sonicare...but I couldn't stand it. It tickled so much that I literally laughed out loud while I was brushing.

I had the oralb before and it was great, then it died and decided to try the sonicare one. Its handsdown better. It actually feals like you went to the dentist and had your teeth scraped smooth after a brushing and is very gentle.
