Between these 2 routers..

Which should I get. The

I would rather get the wireless of it is just as good as the Wired. if there is somethin that makes the wired router far superior, or makes the wireless weak I'll get the wired.

EDIT: If anyone else knows of a good cheap router let me know. I'm open to suggestions, but I don't want to spend alot.

I'm assuming you don't have a need for wireless right now, since you are debating between a wireless and wired router? I would recommend the wireless unit because it'd be more future-proof...who knows when/if you have a friend come over with a laptop or maybe you'll have a need for it. I don't see any reason why the wireless would be worse than the wired. My preference goes to the D-Link 524 unit! I have had nothing but great experiences from D-Link routers and wireless devices.

I agree with Bond, even if you aren't planning to use wireless now, doesn't mean you won't in the future. WHat's the cost difference, like 5 bucks maybe?

I own a 524, and had lots of problems with it on the wireless side. Machines would connect just fine one day, and then the next day would see the wireless network, but could not get and IP address or send any information across it. I would have to restart the router to solve the problem. D-Link support was worthless and acted like I had no problem and that it must be something with my computers. Then, just about a month ago they came out with a new firmware and the problem is fixed.

Wireless What Should I Get?

Well I would much rather have wireless. It's just that price is more important than wireless. Those of you that have the 524 is it revision A or C?

I've got a DL-524 rev C, I planned on never needing to use the wireless because I've got a box of cat 5 and I can get the punch down blocks pretty cheap, the cost of a wireless router after rebates was cheaper than any wired only router. Turns out I needed to borrow a co-workers laptop about two months after purchasing the router that didn't have a wired network port, only wireless. I thought I'd have to run out and get a usb ethernet adaptor for one night's use, then I remembered I could do wifi with my router, a minute or two of changing settings and I was connected painlessly. Check the Circuit City, Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot and Fry's ads and see if you can find a wireless router with a rebate, most times it will be cheaper than wired and you'll have that wireless capability just in case you need it.
