Lets put it into perspective. $25 bucks for omaha steaks is a good deal whichever way you look at it. I wont be cancelling my order. In fact, I hope my order comes soon.

Take your animosity elsewhere and if this thread angers you so, switch to a different page. Since the mods have
not locked this and allowed this thread to continue, it would do you benefit to treat this thread alike any other on this
forum which means NO THREAD CRAPPING.

In any case, perhaps you too should have the mental capacity to not resort to personal attacks so that in the future
may someone afford you the same courtesy.

Additionally, if people here would actually read the threads that they post in, then more Anandtecher's would have seen from the other thread that no matter what the confirmation e-mail said, THE SHIPPING WAS BEING CHARGED!

There were a number of posts in that thread confirming that the shipping would be charged, yet numbskulls kept posting "Look at me! I got free shipping! Free shipping is on!!" just because they got the exact same e-mail that everybody else got.

Nobody can point you to that place because is doesn't exist. Additionally, when people were placing these orders last week it didn't exist either. There was/is noplace on the HSN website that said or implied that anybody would get free shipping on these steaks.

People were "expecting" free shipping primarily because somebody posted in these forums that you'd get free shipping. Those same people ignored all the other posts that showed that shipping was indeed being charged and now people are bitching because they have to pay for what they ordered.

Like I said in the other thread. "Gee, I think I'll dispute my entire credit card bill this month. I didn't think I'd actually have to pay for all that stuff that I bought"

It sure is unfair that a store would actually want you to pay the amount for an item that you agreed to pay for it. I think that people should complain to the BBB that HSN.com actually wanted them to pay for the products they ordered.

Your right, there was no bait & switch. Next time use a 1 time credit card at a spending limit you generate (or decide). That way if you get charged more than your limit it simply dose'nt go through. I did it this way and it worked out deliciously

What were you charged?

Two days ago we noticed an HSN charge of $14.85 to our credit card (temp. authorization from last week had disappeared).

20 minutes later UPS delivered steaks, burgers and cheesecake.

No shipping charges; solamente $14.85! Thx OP - Great deal.
