Reading this thread it sounds like you has 'Major on Third' type RAM. The Chips are Samsung but the construction and Board are third party. And it'll be this third party thats 'SUX', not Samsung.

Bleh really? XMS you're talking about? Cause I'm about to get myself some PC3200 Corsair.. Hope it's not a bad thing or I get lucky ... etcSeriously though, Corsair is just hand-picked Samsung and Winbond (I think, lately) on Corsair PCBs.

I've been going with Newegg lately, as their CS is top-notch. An extra $10 isn't much if you run into a problem. I just RMA'd a RAID card on Friday. They are cross-shipping to me with 2 day fedex at no charge, as I couldn't exactly ship my current RAID card to them while I'm using it After reading through some horror stories about restocking fees with Googlegear, its worth the peace of mind.
