BF1942 Server Admin question

So somewhere in their spotty documentation they say to setup remote administration you have to do a "admin.enableremoteadmin <password>" for EACH map that loads. This means you also have to be on the server to do this...

If you faced this, you know it sucks. Is there any way around this? Most games let you specify a password in the config file, but I don't of any way to do that here...
(btw, i'm just running the demo server until i get the game)
