Hey all,
A few months ago BF2 was giving me some troubles so I simply reinstalled it to see if it would fix it up. However, when I went to reinstall it I started getting these "MD5 Errors"; this is where things went downhill
I thought it was my harddrive acting up perhaps since it was an older drive, so I bought a new drive (160GB 7200.9 SATA). I figured this would solve any remaining problems with a fresh harddrive and installation of Windows.
Well, it hasn't fixed anything. I have the CD version of Battlefield and it always screws up on something, whether it be a map or a client file. I've searched Google and tried any of the "solutions" I've found; updating DVDRW firmware, motherboard software, etc.
Has anyone run into a similar situation, and if so, what worked for you? If not, does anyone have any advice?
My system specs are:
Shuttle SN95G5 (V1.1 or 1.2 I believe)
3200+ Winchester
2GB OCZ Value RAM
eVGA 6800GT
LG GSA-4160
Any help is appreciated. Thanks very much
