I've spent quite a bit of time with it over the past few days.
It looks very nice, but the art direction, style, and even a lot of the assets look a lot like Crysis2. Nothing wrong with that...like I said, it looks really nice - a very strong improvement over BC2. If I didn't know better I would guess this was running on CryEngine3 though.
I do think it could use a good bit of motion smoothing and a lot less shakiness. I know they were trying to go for realism here, but the constant jostling literally gives me a headache after awhile....I feel like I'm watching the Bourne Supremacy or something.
Controls feel clunky and somewhat laggy. Sometimes I felt like I was trying to get a drunk soldier to friggen move his ass - it definitely doesn't feel as tight and quick as BC2. I got used to it after awhile and even top scored some rounds, but I suppose that kind of thing is just personal preference. Having spent so much time in Crysis Wars, everything feels kind of slow and clunky.
I think they have a lot of interesting ideas and I'm sure they'll work the bugs out - I'm definitely going to buy the game at release and jump right in. Despite the things I don't really care for (and my decidedly negative beta review), I still really like what they came up with and I'm having a lot of fun with it.
