Money losing and franchise killing? What the hell are you on about?

http://www.stuff.co.nz/technology/games/8250928/Warfighter-kills-Medal-of-Honor-series

Like, is this guy even for real?

He likes COD more than Battlefield on the PC? And battlefield is a "money loosing (SP)" franchise? Are you for real or working overtime trolling?

Now say that BF3 is simulator like Arma. :awe:

Oh, I'm sure that if AMD was supporting CoD and NVidia Battlefield 4, his views would be reversed.

Like you denying that Battlefield 4 isn't BF 3.5.

it's because he read this...and thoughts that it's amd fault...
but ignores this just to blame amd

And how it's not AMD fault? Let's say they pay $2 million for Tomb Raider and get 100000 copies. Everyone buying AMD card for free game but not game from store.

Tomb Raider cost $100 million?, sold 3.4 million copies. They need 5-10 million sales. Bioshock Infinite cost $200 million. In before someone is say that it's not true:
and is the biggest UK game launch in the BioShock franchise's history with approximately 9000 more sales than BioShock 2.

Tomb Raider was the biggest launch of the year so far in the UK. Square Enix's expectations that it would sell CoD numbers has nothing to do with AMD...
Medal of Honour Warfighter was a rushed, crummy game. That has nothing to do with AMD...

Now say that BF3 is simulator like Arma. :awe:

BF3 is BF3, Arma is Arma. :hmm: I don't understand what you're trying to say by pointing out that different games are different...

Like you denying that Battlefield 4 isn't BF 3.5.

Please point to where I said that.

Oh good, made up numbers, my favourite! Let's start with the Bioshock Infinite $200m number. Update to that article from Ken Levine himself:

UPDATE: Ken Levine has tweeted in response to the New York Times story, pouring cold water on the information from the analyst originally.

Levine said: "200 million for Infinite? Did someone send some checks to the wrong address? #unnamedanalyst"

Now, as for the Tomb Raider numbers- any sources for those? Or are you just making them up? How about the fact that because AMD had guaranteed the sales of a large number of copies and provided money up front, they could afford to invest more in development? Not to mention receive engineering expertise from AMD themselves?

Again, with that Square Enix article- they simply have utterly unrealistic expectations of sales. No two ways about it, its a big problem, and sod all to do with AMD.

Haha. Way out there. Battlefield 4 will be one of the biggest games of the year as well as one of the most significant PC releases of the year. It's a good game to get your name under, as out of any game released this year on PC, it's the one that is going to encourage the most desire to upgrade.

I'm sure AMD is paying *something* for the game copies. Its not like there is a huge per unit cost on EA's end for a DD game. Plus they get the co-branding in advertising.

Sounds like we have a nut case in here. BF has always been a better series than COD on the PC. Anyone stating otherwise is probably slightly looney..... I mean, unless you enjoy playing a game with a 2006 engine that can probably run on most smartphones.

I can say without a shadow of a doubt Bioshock isn't remotely close to 200m.
