looking to purchase immediately but dont mind waiting a week or so if i have to pre order it.

outpost.com says they may have them in on the 21st but nothing is certain.

edit: Hopefully somewhere in the neighborhood of 500-550, dont feel like being price gouged.

I ordered one from Zones for around $600, got it in 4 days, but I'm a very good customer, so I can't say the same (I paid less, but I'm not quoting what I *did* pay)

Keep an eye on Best Buy's website. They periodically have it go "In Stock," of course to go "Out of Stock" relatively quickly. Keep an eye there and you'll proly get lucky.
Or you can order a GT for $400 and put an nV Silencer on it

My local Compusa (Brighton, MA) has had one in stock for weeks now. I believe its a PNY for $500.
