BFG 6800GT OC from Bestbuy

My local bestbuy has the bfg 6800gt oc in stock for $399.99 plus tax. Should I invest in this card or can I get a better card for equal or lesser price? I'm torn.

Good price...its brand new with 30 day BestBuy warranty...no shipping charges....Lifetime BFG warranty...

Yeah I would would get if I were looking for a GT

seems pretty good, but if i was to buy one, i guess i would save like $30-40 (depending on where u go) and get the PNY version. It oc's past ultra speeds, has a lifetime warrenty, and offers pretty solid performance.

Reason they're so cheap is that they dont come packeged with extra software, and they are practically the nVidia model, just with the PNY sticker on it.

They both are good deals i guess, so that card should do u well.

PNY doesn't have a true lifetime warranty and 24/7 Toll Free support like BFG does. The BFG 6800 GT OC comes slightly OC'd out of the box, 370/1000.

Not to mention the "It oc's past ultra speeds" is simply a matter of luck, the cards are only guarantied to run at stock speed.

I just bought one myself from BB.

I went and checked what it's set at, and I'm getting 395/1070 on mine, rather than the advertised 370/1000. I not only checked it w/the nVidia driver o/c feature, but w/RivaTuner and Everest Home Edition.

I had the card up to 415/1100 w/o any benchmarking problems at all.
