Mine has the BIOS version marked out in black as well. That's weird but it works just fine. Not worth worrying about, IMO.

got mine from the ups man today now i need the rest of my gear to make it work, memory, mobo, processor, psu, 23 inch sceptre lcd, i will reuse the rest of the hardware from my sig. finally upgrading from a 478 socket. it's been a good one but it's time to go!

Cool well, my card came and I love it. Couldn't believe that TF2 could look that good. Now, a question...can I bring this thing to Bestbuy and get 10-12% off with a coupon even though I bought it online? That would make this sweet. Otherwise, since I really want COH I might sell it online and wait for an XFX one with a similar price to appear.

F*CK worst buy.

On Sunday I tried to use my rewards zone 12% coupon online and could not. NONE in store in the whole state of Michigan. Call my uncle in Florida and tell him about the deal. NONE in the whole state of Florida. He calls Worst buy 800 number and they tell him he can use the coupon. Just buy it online and then go into the store and get the difference. Mean while I have a stupid bitch on the 800 number tell me no. Uncle calls me and says he can do it and I say I can't. So I call back and I was told by the lady I was talking too I could. So I say why buy it and go in if you can do it. She agrees to give me the 12% if I buy it online right then and she can do it. So I buy it and and 2 hours later still on the phone she tells me it will not work. She is having problems with her computer. She says she will call back in two hours to let me know if she can do it. Four hours later she says she can't, ohh so f$cking great I just spent $250 and tax for something that I cannot use my coupon for.
What the hell is with a company putting something on sale and having none in stock. I then get an email saying it will be shipped for 1 to 2 weeks. It's late Sunday and having been on the phone with these idiots for almost 4 hours. I decide I will call and cancel on Monday. Wake up and check email monday morning and BAM the stupid bastards ship it.

So I call and I am still telling them the story 2 hour's later, of not being able too use the 12% coupon and NONE in stock in the entire state. Guy on the phone say's I can go to the store and get the difference. Drive 20 minutes to Worst Buy and ask for the manager. I get the General Store manager and he tells me that Worst Buy and Worst Buy.Com are separate companys and he cannot do it. Even though customer relations said he could, this piece of shiot would not even call C.R.. He is an arrogant f%ck and talked to me like I was a dirtbag. I called C.R. and they are sending me a $30 gift card to make up the difference of the coupon.

The store was the one in Auburn Hills Mi and I am going to customer relations on this and complain about him. That guy is freaking flaming asshole.


Now the card woohoo daddy this rocks. Bioshock and UT3 play like hookers on crack. Eveything looks beautiful.

My Anti Static Bag wasn't ripped but my bios sticker is also crossed out with a permanent marker.

The wife is out for the weekend so I haven't opened mine yet as I've got the bigscreen with the wii on unlimited time but my box is still in shrink wrap.

My 8800GT OC game in perfect condition and installed nicely (just had to remove the frontal intake fan). Stays as cool as my 6800 after playing around in Rivatuner and runs like a champ.

Finally got around to installing it but am having a problem of not being able to transmit a signal over a DVI cable, only VGI. Anyone experiencing the same? Thinking about taking it back out and swapping it.

I ordered mine late 11-19 when it was backordered (showing to ship from 12-05 to 12-18).

now it's showing estimated ship date of 12-18 to 12-26.

i think you have a better chance with the bestbuy deal.

fwiw i ordered all the deals, lol. i ordered the bestbuy 8800gt , dells 8800gt and hd3870 deal. whichever comes first is the one i would keep and cancel the rest. or just throw on ebay.

i got in on a dell deal awhile back for a hot video card and i remember waiting 1+ month to get it.
