How's this deal guys & gals:

ENPC on Yahoo FX5900
It's now more on this second link?
(Thanks docinthebox)
ENPC FX5900
I believe it's a regular 5900 & not a se/ultra/xt etc.

I ordered one over a week ago & it was more then.:frown:
Shipping is supposed to be included.
YMMV

edit:
Here's another deal listed below & in the video forum:
Comp-U-Plus FX5900 for $199.00
but I get $14.95 for shipping when I add it to my shopping cart

Here's a third one listed below:
Gameve FX5900 for $176.00
says Free Shipping
At this time the thread replies seem to recommend against ordering one from Gameve.

Now it's listed at Newegg, but not in stock yet:
Newegg BFG FX5900 for $175.00

Here's another one posted below:
BuyExtremeGear.com FX5900 for $195.00
I didn't check the shipping but it says "retail box".
NOW it says OEM

Here's a link to BFG:
BFG page for FX5900

Thanks for the picture link Jawadali
Allstarshop pictures here
Why do companies put big heat sinks on the memory on top of the card & then put nothing on the memory on the bottom? I think I saw an Asus 9600XT with the memory uncovered also.

I was looking at the pictures of a Gainward card at Newegg:
Gainward FX5900
and it's design makes me think that all the memory is on the top/front & there isn't any on the back. I think the BFG card is the same way. The solder outline on the back of the cards looks like chips sometimes.

This sounds like an awesome deal. It's only ~ 30 bucks more than a 9600 pro.

IF this is a reg 5900, then this is a pretty decent deal. $20 and you can have a 9700Pro, but it's a *lot* faster than a 9600XT or 5700U.

Unless they switched(which noone I've seen has yet) I can confirm that mine has 2.2ns ram.

Elaborate or this is a blatant thread crap to make others jealous.

Oh I have my connections. He has a couple more too. I might just go buy another one. =D It's risky though cause it only has a 30 day warranty. But for $175, I really don't care. Besides, AGP is now obsolete. PCI Express is out in Spring which means the video cards are much more powerful. So for me, this $175 was not a huge investment. I won't be buying a AGP video card anymore. PCI Express all the way.

P.S. And NO, they are not stolen.

I have a feeling these new FX cards are gonna be getting really cheap REALLY soon. It seems like the video card technology is moving so quickly. Hmmmmm.

I dont THINK so, but wait for confirmation from GregANDTCH to be sure. I recently posted here the cheapest 5900s w/ VIVO that I could find (after a fair amount of research). If this card has VIVO i will be suprised.

On second thought maybe it does.... Most of the places selling the card only mention TV out, but the manufacturer's page mentions VIVO. You would think they would advertise the feature if it was available. Perhaps there are 2 different versions?

There is only one version of the BFG FX 5900nu . I'm positive it has VIVO, I even e-mailed them about it.

Doh! I wish I had known that. Strange that none of these vendors mention it. Perhaps its not clearly labeled on the box.

How is VIVO implemented then? It appears to have just an s-video out. Do they include a dongle that plugs into that to provide component functionality? Thinking of replacing my Ti4200 with this, but the VIVO might tip the balance.
