I think the eVGA FX5900 that is on sale at that site has bundled COD, other than that, the BFG FX5900 doesn't, and gd news the price is at only $161 if you check out this BFG, but too bad I still waiting for my free replacement upgrades to FX5900 for my FX5800

You're funny HOMERBOY... You need to read more reviews, and not just express your opinion. Reviews don't lie. Half Life was built on the ATI chipset, the xBox is going to use an ATI card.

Geforce, IMHO, while they WERE the best of cards, aren't meant to have ALL of their settings MAXED, but ATI is. I speak from experience, and from reviews.

buyxtremegear.com is now OOS on the BFG5900... their pricing is very fishy - one link says one thing, another says somethign different, well now the price is back down to $161 (after having moved from 161-162-167-162 over the last few days). But like I said, OOS...

I dunno about newegg either, ETA was 1-29-04, but still says OOS, and it's close to 3pm CST. Plus it's still $175...

Just to let you all know, I just got my fx5900 from GameVe.com today. It came with Call of Duty free! Along with the VIVO dongle as well. Excellent price with the game bundled free!

I ordered it this past monday and got it today. So 3 days. And that was for the free (ground) shipping

I finally got around to flashing the new BFG 5900 I got from enpc. The flash was successful and the card runs at 5950 speeds. No (big) slowdown in 3DMark vs my old XFX 5900 overclocked to near 5950 speeds, so it's not throttling. The XFX 5900 @ 460/950 is still faster overall, but this is still a decent hack.

If you are going to flash the Gainward or LeadTek BIOS, use v4.41 of the flash program, not v4.46. v4.46 doesn't seem to have a way to get around the board ID mismatch (x331 5900NU vs x333 5950U). I used the LeadTek 5950U BIOS.

I bought one from outpost.com (because they are the only ones that ship overseas) and it didn't come with CoD. Even though there is the ad that says buy from frys/outpost and get CoD. Outpost support says it a "while stocks last" deal ... do you think thats fair ?

Newegg is now showing the estimated time of arrival for the bfg 5900 as being february 3rd.

Of course, they were showing it yesterday as being 1/29, and the 29th came and went, so the 2/3 date could be wrong as well.

Make sure you don't have a popup blocker running. The coupon code comes up via a popup window when you click Buy Now. I just tried it, and it's still there. It says free gift with your order, so I dunno if that means tshirt, keychain, or something else or not. But I got a white nvidia tshirt

480/1000 right now perfectly stable (room is cold though so add that into the equation)
Cant get the Krusty "hack" to work though... I dont have a Bart entry

Whats interesting though is that I was playing CoD last night and it would run fine for a while then get SUPER jerky. FPS had to be plumpeting. Not 1 artifact or blurred image though so I dont think it was the card (temp only hit 64C)

Not sure what was up... prob the server I as on.
