No you won't. There may be some hassle involved as manufacturers get it sorted out, but that is the fault of CPG, not the fault of the various manufacturers involved.
You don't expect to be left hanging by everyone, do you? After all, along with BFG there are other companies involved with notably good service, including Antec, Costco, Newegg, etc.

Give them a call and have them register the PSU for you. I had to do that after getting the same error. Also FYI- Don't let the tech try to tell you that the S/N on the box and the S/N on the PSU are different. They aren't and it will save you some work if you've already installed the PSU.
