It will do 1920x1200 via DVI no problem. All cards with Single-link DVI has that limitations.

Would this be better than an onboard 7025? I just built a box with the Biostar TF7025-M2 board, but if it the 7300 is better, $20 is a worthwhile upgrade to a sub-$500 PC.

Yes. Especially if you use it for TV and have the PureVideo decoder installed.

Thanks! Would be a killer deal if this thing is passively cooled. Those tiny fans are sooo annoying. I may jump in and swap it with an passive heat sink.

Not quite as good as a deal but I picked up the gigabyte 7300gs for around $46 6 months ago for a build - it has passive heat sink. Maybe one day there will be a rebate on it

strange. I never saw that come up with GCO, could have been the pop-up blocker.
I was thinking, what if you SLI two of these? maybe they could give 7600gs run for their money

Got the video card today! 3 day shipping :Q Included was a vga/dvi adapter, cd, and the video card. You don't need the UPC code (the sticker on the plastic wrap). What you do need is the "proof of purchase" on the bottom end. Cut that out and you're good to go!


edit - oh the box says up to 256 mb ram with turbo cache...but u need 512 mb ram.

I am thinking to upgrade the video card to this one http://www.buy.com/prod/bfg-tech-...40649.html or Geforce7300 LE.Which one is better?
I would like to ask whether this card supports 1920x1080 resolution.I have a sharp 1080p hdtv...so can i get full hd resolution using this card or should i go for some other video card.
One more thing I got this desktop(Emachines T5062,Amd 3800,1gb,160gb Hard drive) for 276 after taxes...Should I wait for further price drops..or is this a good deal?

Your link to the other video card is messed up.

Regarding the resolution, according to the description, it supports a max of 1920 X 1200 in digital. so it should be able to do 1080. I'm not 100% sure.

And for the PC, you could get a dual core AMD and more for around that price at dell outlet. you just have to keep looking

Yes, the 7300 LE > 6200 LE.

According to this, the 7300 has a max of 1920x1200. Product spec sheet from 3d Fuzion.

Hopefully someone with the card (I haven't installed it yet ), can answer

Got mine today as well. That was some of the fastest shipping ever.. beats ZZF that still has my ram by far (that thing better get here before the rebate postmark date). Put it in my new system and the thing wouldnt power up. I am suspecting the PSU or something entirely silly while putting things together.. Hopefully I would get it all fixed when I get home in a few hours.
