BFG GeForce 7800 GT OC 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express Graphics Card
Model: BFGR78256GTOC

$449.99 - $100.00 MIR = $349.99 + tax + $3.99 shipping

what else needs to be said? this is the 2nd to top-of-the-line nVidia card and it's going for $349. The 6800 GT OC is still going for more than that! Site says no in-store pickup. anyone seen this at the bestbuy store?

Actually it's even better than this deal-in the ad this week they have this card listed as $449.99 - $30 instant saving = $419.99. The ad doesn't mention the $100 MIR, but it's definitely there on the website, so assuming you could find one in stock you should be able to get it for $419.99 + tax - $100 ~ $319. For me, tax is 7.5% so it pretty much kills it, ends up being only about $20 cheaper than newegg has it with no rebate.

I'm not finding the $30 instant off in the ad...
but it clearly shows the $100 MIR. What ad are you looking at??

If only more of my McD's BB Bucks were back...

Yeah, that evga is certainly the best deal I've seen so far. Even better than the Dell BFG after rebate and coupon (warranty and price are about the same, but the higher clock on the evga and the evga "funny money" are the tiebreakers.)

I am looking at the "Weekly Ad" that is linked off their site. It is the same as their weekly print at. It's on page 14 or so.

Why is this here?

Here, let's turn it into an actual deal thread:

eVGA 7800GT for $339 free shipping @ ZZF

3DFuzion (BFG) 7800GT at $289.99 @ TigerDirect

I wouldn't exactly call people "mentally impaired"...sheesh. Yes, the eVGA is cheaper, so is the 3DFuzion (which may be built by BFG or whatever the connection is, but doesn't carry the same warranty, nor is it overclocked). No one was telling you to run out and buy from them, get one of these if you want.

Although I agree that this "might" not be a HOT deal; I would be wary of getting a EVGA card. I had to return mine because the factory had one of the settings at a ridiculously high number in the BIOS.

I had really bad artifacting, and I thought all 7800 GTs were like this; was going to go ATI if it was going to be this bad. Then I found a thread about EVGA 7800 GTs and bios settings. I believe it was "delta geometric rate" that was set too high. For example mine was set to core clock 440Mhz, but the delta geometric rate was set to +80Mhz, making the geometric rate 520Mhz (supposedly meaning that for 3D games I was OCed to 520 core clock...); solution was to flash the bios to a BFG bios; I decided to just buy a BFG instead. whatever.

well considering the BFG has a lifetime warranty i'd rather pay a bit more. this is still a great retail boxed BFG 7800 GT deal out.

eVGA also has a lifetime warranty. The ZZF deal is cheaper and buyers (except CA) will also save tax on $450 (a whopping $37 in TX).

ok scratch all that, cuz a newer better deal came up for the BFG 7800 GT OC

$419.95 - $42.00 (auto 10% off) - $30 (coupon) - $30 MIR = $312.95 + $2.20 for shipping & handling.

look for the coupon on NBD or any other site
