just to make this deal clear..

if it's really going to be 169.99 then just pick up a PCworld for like 5 bucks and get the coupon out of it and then do this

169.99-17=152.99-80mir=72.99

Yes, why don't we just buy everything at the store in hopes that some magic rebates materialize on Friday...

If BB gets pissed, all they do is E-mail you and order you to take it down. Big deal.

I placed my order for in-store pickup. Gonna get it Tuesday or Wednesday, and hope for turkey day ad to have the big savings on it.

$199-$50(IR)-$80(MIR)=$69 total not $89 as stated

You can buy it now and return/repurchase it on Friday and use the %10 Best Buy Magazine Coupon.

I can understand now why companies don't want their adds showing up early on the internet. If you all go in there and deplete their inventory of this item, then it would be teh suck for the poor schmuck who gets there first in line on Black Friday, in order to get in on this hot deal, but comes away empty handed because all of the video cards have already been snatched up beforehand. But I will be honest, if I needed one I would be doing the buy it now and returning/repurchasing it on Friday.

Absolutely! A bunch of folks did that last year and this year we're paying the price for it.

Oh please. Most of the people bought the card a week early. If BB really wanted to hold stock for the sale, they could have. Instead, they were probably more than happy to have some empty-handed shoppers in the store with a wad of cash to spend.

Anyway, enough with the babble. Where is the proof of this "deal?" Hello, Mr. Wizard, where are you?

Isn't this hot deals, no matter what? I bought a card, and I'll wait and see if there's a hot deal. If so, then good for me, if not, then no harm, no foul. I appreciate the heads-up on the supposed deal, hope it comes through for $69.00!!!

Order now for store pickup and pick it up....FRIDAY!!! If there is no rebate or instant savings, tell 'em you left your fat wallet in the car and don't come back!. They will not charge you until you pick it up. Seems pretty foolproof to me, but I've done some foolish things before so I'm no expert.

I tried that last year for the Ti200, the line for .com pickups was literally longer than any of the checkout lines and moving half as fast. I was bummed and then I strolled by the vid card section and lo and behold there were 2 left.

You guys have no imagination. Go to the store, find the video card, go burry it somewhere else in the store, and come back and get it when it goes on sale...

You guys are hilarious. I think someone should offer a prize for most creative hiding spot, then everyone should reveal their hiding spot after they purchase the cards. Makes for some enjoyable reading.

BTW - Another option for some of you...... I just happened to score an XFX 64mb Geforce Ti4200 refurb for $95 from Newegg. I currently am testing it at 290/590 (almost Ti4600 speeds) and no hiccups so far. Reviewers have found similar overclocking results. A new card is only $127 shipped at Newegg. For $30 more (less if you figure in tax) you may get better OC results with this card and not have to hassle with rebates or lines. $12 more for the card with DVI out. Do a search on google.com for reviews - there are a bunch of them.

don't you look suspiscious if u are taking a $200 video card to the appliances section? i mean they have camera's all over.
My suggestion is that just buy the card now and return/rebuy it later.
