BFG Tech Asylum Geforce 4 Ti4200 128MB for $89 BestBuy 11/29

I'm afraid wizard got it mixed up with the asylum geforce4 ti4200 64 MB version....the regular price for 64MB is 169.99 which would all add up right if it had a total of $80 MIR ( $50 IR + $30 MIR ) . I went to my local BB and they didn't have the 128 MB version on the shelves so I had to order for store pick-up and I'll just pick up on friday and hope for the best.

Hopefully wizard will come back and clear things up for us.

Does Best Buy carry the 64 mb version? cause there were none on the shelves, or price tag, and it's not at bestbuy.com. So we can't purchase it ahead.

Yeah they do carry the 64 MB version in store @ mission valley, CA. It was the only one they had. They did not have a tag for the 128 MB so the guy said they are most likely sold out.

bb store here (i'm hiding, don't ask) had the 128mb version only. that's why i'm not contemplating a potential pm of some sort

that makes sense, and it sucks. guess i'll have to return the 128megger next week. i dont know why all these lousy vendors are pushing 64mb gf4's. MX's i can understand, but 64mb on a full GF4?? it's almost 2003 for cripes sake!

btw, all the 256 sdram for the BF combo with WD 75gb was off the shelf. no 75g's to be found anywhere, no tag even. googling wd750bbrtl only results in a BF site, so i wonder if they are going to remark their wd80's on Friday?

By rebates (plural) did you mean one mail-in and one instant rebate?

yea because he secretly works for BestBuy and just wants to create interest in shopping there since we're blacklisting them on Black Friday.

btw there are tons more insanely crazy deals going on at best buy on 11/29 but u will just have to wait and find out for yourself. i think i have said too much already.

I guess you were not here last Black Friday. Some people were caught doing this and were asked to leave the store and not return. Also MANY people who pre-bought the Geforce 3 Ti-200 last year did not get the $50.00 rebate. As I recall it had to do with getting a price adjustment instead of them doing a return/rebuy. I was lucky and did the rebuy and got mine.

Thanks for the heads up! I appreciate your time and effort on this. I guess WE all need to wait and see to believe for ourselves how hot a deal this could essentially become. I just received my e-mail confirmation to pick up at store, will go on 11/29th and try to use my 10% coupon and see wat's up.

You haven't been paying attention. It has been posted several times that you need to call the fulfillment house and then they will cut you a check the day that you call. I got sick of waiting and after 4 months I called and they said that the check would be in the mail today. It was and I got it within the week.

Why are people so afraid to call the number on the rebate form if they don't get their rebates. Would they rather bitch and whine about not getting the rebate check? I don't get it.
