You mean I just wasted my coupon for nothing?Originally posted by: aldamon
You will only get 100% price match when BB matches itself. I also asked if I used my 10% coupon to buy the card today if it would be re-applied after the price match. The answer was no. The price is actually going to be around $102 AR depending on taxes in your area.
I'm wondering the same thing. Have my shrinkwrapped card and will try the return/rebuy, and bought PC World last night ($7.57!) and have the coupon for 10% discount on peripheral. It's not clear to me if this is a safe strategy - to try the rebuy with the coupon. Saw conflicting posts in the threads. I'm also wondering if it's necessary to do the return/rebuy early tomorrow, anytime tomorrow, or anytime next week. I figure it doesn't matter which BB you go to, however (as long as they will do a R/R).Originally posted by: webley
Are you planning to use the 10% magazine coupon? I may not because I don't want to risk missing the $55 MIR. Anyone have experience with combining MIRs and other coupons at Best Buy? Does it work or do they reject the MIRs?

What's the likely hood of PM this at Circuit City to get a 110% price difference!
Judging from the ad, I think it's safe to assume the MIR and instant R are good at least through Saturday. Only things on the first page are 6 hour and each has a yellow tag saying 6 hour. On the last page they say Friday and Saturday. On other pages they don't say anything. I guess those are F+S too.Originally posted by: webley

I just checked my Ti200 rebate from last year and it says the offer date was 11/23-11/24 so if this year's Ti4200 rebate is similar, you'll have to do the return/rebuy either Friday or Saturday (11/29 or 11/30) to qualify for the rebate. I don't know if the instant rebate is good afternoon Friday or Saturday though so to be safe, it's probably best to return/rebuy on Friday morning.
Whadaya mean? I'm there NOW!BTW, when are you people going to go there tomorrow? If store opens at 6 am.......4:30?

I've NEVER done a Black Friday deal. I generally lay low. This time, I'm getting my feet wet. I don't care if the rebate does take 6 months as long as I get it. Well, I care, but it wouldn't be a show-stopper. I really need a good video card.Originally posted by: Z80
Last time I bought the black Friday video card deal at Best Buy it took over 6 months to get the rebate. NO THANKS!

What a joke. There was a HUGE line at BB, prolly 600 people or more. The 4200's were gone before I walked in the door. Now I remember why I hate Black Friday.

Got the card from BB this morning. I was there around 5:00am and waited on line outside the store until 6:00 opening...I was like #10 on line.

Purchased my card on tuesday and just got back from doing the price adjustment at BB. Here is what I did YMMV, go to the returns area and there should be someone fielding questions, just tell them you would like to do a price adjustment and they should direct you to the front of the line. I was in the store for a total of 10 minutes. They did the pricematch and printed out the rebate.
BTW I have the card running at 300 core 500 memory--very nice.
