Looks like BB pulled the card from the website. All you order early pickup in store people are educating them it seems

Are you planning to use the 10% magazine coupon? I may not because I don't want to risk missing the $55 MIR. Anyone have experience with combining MIRs and other coupons at Best Buy? Does it work or do they reject the MIRs?

I'm wondering the same thing. Have my shrinkwrapped card and will try the return/rebuy, and bought PC World last night ($7.57!) and have the coupon for 10% discount on peripheral. It's not clear to me if this is a safe strategy - to try the rebuy with the coupon. Saw conflicting posts in the threads. I'm also wondering if it's necessary to do the return/rebuy early tomorrow, anytime tomorrow, or anytime next week. I figure it doesn't matter which BB you go to, however (as long as they will do a R/R).

I just checked my Ti200 rebate from last year and it says the offer date was 11/23-11/24 so if this year's Ti4200 rebate is similar, you'll have to do the return/rebuy either Friday or Saturday (11/29 or 11/30) to qualify for the rebate. I don't know if the instant rebate is good afternoon Friday or Saturday though so to be safe, it's probably best to return/rebuy on Friday morning.

Judging from the ad, I think it's safe to assume the MIR and instant R are good at least through Saturday. Only things on the first page are 6 hour and each has a yellow tag saying 6 hour. On the last page they say Friday and Saturday. On other pages they don't say anything. I guess those are F+S too.

I've NEVER done a Black Friday deal. I generally lay low. This time, I'm getting my feet wet. I don't care if the rebate does take 6 months as long as I get it. Well, I care, but it wouldn't be a show-stopper. I really need a good video card.

in a way i think this is going to be a friday sat. deal, since if you really think about you are only saving about 50 dollars, not the hottest deal if you ask me. and honestly i don't know why it got as hot as many of ppl think it is. the 75mb hd + ram on the other hand i think its a much hotter deal. but i guess it also depends on demand. since everyone wants a vid card over a hd, it got really hot. but what did bb know. i guess that's why they left it as a friday sat. deal instead the 6 hour deal.

anyways, please someone that's going to do it this morning please ask if it is good in the after noon, since i have work till 12 if the deal is not good after that, i have to take off early.

Get this....there was this group (family) of about 25 indians waiting on line....from say #5 on. The BB people come out to hand out the emachines numbers (this store had 30 of em) and asks them what they came for. They replied "just to shop." They werent there for anything advertised, but got up early just to browse the store. UnF***ing believable! Line wasnt as bad as last years (although this store has only been open for a year, maybe the opening + the specials made it so bad last year?) still about 400 people waiting to get in the doors....

here in Traverse City MI (dont laugh) I was like 10th or so in line.............Walked right up and snagged a Ti4200 without any problems. Looked around for somemore stuff, glanced at the vid card rack again and nobody had taken another one.....people up here are dumb
Those 75gb Western Digital drives went like hot cakes though..I also grabbed the 1st one and was out like a bat outta hell..

Purchased my card on tuesday and just got back from doing the price adjustment at BB. Here is what I did YMMV, go to the returns area and there should be someone fielding questions, just tell them you would like to do a price adjustment and they should direct you to the front of the line. I was in the store for a total of 10 minutes. They did the pricematch and printed out the rebate.

BTW I have the card running at 300 core 500 memory--very nice.

Geeze....this has been the same argument for the last two years. Here's the facts:

1) NOBODY THAT I KNOW OF WAS DENIED THE RETURN\REBUY FROM BEST BUY----- EVER! (Well
2) THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH THE REBATE IF YOU RETURN\REBUY
3) THE PEOPLE THAT HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEIR REBATE LAST YEAR DID NOT GET A NEW RECIEPT FOR THEIR REBATE

I'm going to do mine this afternoon. I'll tell you how long it took tonight.

I've got mine up to 300/577. It's got a nice fan\heatsink on it already. Not bad! Running MadOnion's 3D benchmark I went from a score of 5308 with my GF3 Ti200, to 5906 with the Ti4200, and a nice 6396 overclocked to 300/577. I'm happy
