I flashed my bios to 1.37b cause people said BH-5 works better on the 1.37 or greater bios.
Plus i just got my new OCZ ModStream 520W.
Thought maybe my PSU was holding me back.
I can Prime95 at 210x10 +8.3%v with memory at 2.5-4-4-10 2.7v
As soon as i go to 220 i get rounding errors

BH-5 runs best at 2-2-2 - although you may get a couple more MHz increasing the latencies, it will not be worth it. it also LOVES voltage. if you can get the voltage up to at least 3.3v, it will love it, and easily hit 240 - hitting 240*10 is also CPU dependant though.

get the 'Ocz DDR booster' itll let you go up to 3.9v, though after 3.4 youll need some good cooling.

well
OCZ says the warranty is good upto 2.9v
my mobo only allows upto 2.85v
i run it at 2-3-2-5 1t 2.6v
thats default
i've tried it at 2.8v at 2.5-4-4-10 1t and still cant pass prime95 on anything over 210x10
a 100mhz OC is weak!
especially at the cost of memory timings
i'd rather run 200x10 @ 2-3-2-5 1t 2.6v
than 210x10 @ 2.5-4-4-10 1t 2.8v

whats the best way to see what is holding you back on an OC (CPU or Memory?)

I assume from your sig you're running 512mbx2. Did you try an OC on each stick individually? It could be that one of the sticks is simply a poor overclocker and is holding the other one back.

And as has already been mentioned, BH-5 is excellent for OCing if you can feed enough voltage into it. 3.3v-3.4v is a common voltage for running it. Since your mobo only allows up to 2.85, the OCZ DDR Booster is one alternative to allowing higher DIMM voltages. I believe you can get them for under $50. Your only other recourse would be a voltmod which instantly voids your mobo warranty.

It is high but not unheard of, for serius Mhz you need to up the voltage quite a bit, especialy in these modules.

I have pretty much the same setup as you but with Mushkin PC3200 BH5 and it doesn't oc worth a crap. I can't even go 1 Mhz over 200 and it's unstable. I'm getting some OCZ Rev2.

That seems really high to me!
Am i crazy, or is that notmal?

I've been runnin my bh-5 at 3.3v for a year now, no problems yet... BH-5 likes voltage.

With 2.9v my bh-5 maxes out around 215 or so.

If I got the OCZ DDR Booster does it boost two dimms?
I keep my memory in dimms 1 and 2.
Do I just put the booster in dimm 3 or 4 and it will boost both or only 1 dimm?
I have no experience with that product so...

The neo2 board doesnt like 2-2-2 with BH5. You can do 2-3-2 all day though, i had some mushkin level2 pc3500 @ 220 2-3-2 @ 2.85v and with a ocz booster had it @ 240 2-3-2 @ 3.2v. The guys at mushkin even checked thier test bh5 on a neo2 their and got the same problems with 2-2-2.
