Georgia certifies election results confirming that Biden beat Trump

The secretary of state of Georgia is set to certify the results of its presidential election, confirming that Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump.

Secretary of State certified it, yes. Governor signs off on it tomorrow but from my knowledge even if he wanted to the law does not permit him to change the result or even refuse to sign.

Michigan and certification has been in the news so they would think that Michigan gave in with not deciphering between the two, Michigan and Georgia. Recounts don’t undermine the process, its part of the process. There is some debate as to whether or not state legislatures have the power to overturn the will of the people as it relates to electors, and while that scenario is headline grabbing, it doesn’t appear that any GOP controlled states that Trump lost are inclined to go along with any such scenario.
