We haven't decided what that is yet. But we're compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required."

You can't repeal an amendment with an executive order. You have to get another amendment to repeal/change a previous one.

I don't see how its an impeachable offense but I also don't see how this even remotely makes it through the shit storm of lawsuits that would ensue.

If he was told no but continued to try and push it through (by whatever means) he'd basically be attempting to violate the Constitution, which would be illegal and impeachable. There is a set procedure for modifying the Constitution, and the President explicitly does not have the power to do so on his own.

But yeah, this is some paranoid's pipe-dream.
