I wonder how Trump if feeling knowing that his man-crush has dumped him in favor of another Beau. Especially the one who stole the election from him. I mean, first Putin doesn’t deliver a second time in November and now he’s all chummy with Biden. Putin used him then tossed him aside like a used tissue when his usefulness was done.

Putin knows he has to deal with Biden for at least a few years so he'll play the diplomacy game. But they are praying for Trump to get back in power in 2024 for sure.

Nah, he just knows he is old, senile, and incredibly stupid. So give him the idea and perception that he is making progress, and that he is a great leader..... while continuing to jam the knife in the back even harder.

Just from how Biden reacts to simple questions from the press tells you all you need to know that in order to get anything you want out of him, all you have to do is tell him he's smart.

Might just remind you of someone else that had a similar personality.....

I disagree. Biden took Putin SERIOUSLY, on the world stage even. Trump did not. The useful idiot, as it turns out, wasn't very useful at all. Hopefully, Putin and his fellow oligarchs will fully realize this and take a step or two back from pushing so much disinformation through republican channels.

Yeh, it's funny how both allies & adversaries seem to see Biden in much the same way, huh? Which is, of course, not the way they viewed Trump, at all. How can that be?

"Here Putin - here is a list of things that we are ESPECIALLY susceptible to. Plz don't hack these. Plz?"

You think Putin and Russia are stupid they don't know what the most high value targets are already? They don't need Biden to tell them. Agreements between enemies lay out the rules of engagement, territory, what is off limits. This is exactly that.

Of course you are too stupid to figure this out.

Well, I'm starting to be concerned. This well respected doctor, says Biden should take a cognitive test.

Remember if you're asked to get out of the car its "Person. Woman. Man Camera. TV," .

Led by Trump's old doctor, over a dozen GOP lawmakers demand Biden take a cognitive test | Salon.com
The people pushing this are the same who bout into the Hillary is on her death bed( she's still alive right?). Unfortunately there are tons of folks who are easily conned by propaganda.

Naw he is playing a one man game of stupid and it appears its for no reason at all. What motivates the village idiot to do what he do? Is it important for us to understand? He is acting like an anarchist, ill address him as such.

He is not playing, that is his highest level of critical thinking skills.

Biden basically laid out the rules of the cyber battlefield, and also threatened Putin with our own cyber attacks if rules are broken.

Trump wouldn't have the balls to say that to his handler.

"Biden didn't prepare" for the G7 and the summit"? I saw too many sources, backed up by clips of Biden's multiple deliveries, which suggest the opposite.

At least he is actively fighting a disease that has so far killed about 600,000, where as Trump minimized the danger because he was afraid it might affect the economy, and then compounded the error by actively denigrating the safety measures that could probably have saved hundreds of thousands of lives.

As to the OP: from what I have read of the comments on the latest G7, our allies view the efforts of "the doddering old fool" much more favorably than those of Trump.
What new and/or innovative measures has the current administration introduced to fight COVID? Masks? Social distancing? Vaccines? Closing businesses and borders? I bet Trump ordered elderly people to be confined indoors with infected people and then lied about the deaths.

Biden isn't a stunning speaker, but here's the thing: beneath that is an intelligent, competent politician, even if he occasionally makes mistakes or doesn't translate words into action. If he doesn't have all the answers, he admits it and delegates tasks to people who are better-suited.

With Trump, the surface (which isn't that great to start with) is all he has. His ideas and governance were at best incompetent, were tied to ego and ideology rather than evidence. Many of them are intentional, malicious lies. And at worst... well, they may well have led to hundreds of thousands of avoidable deaths.

I'd much, much rather have an awkward public speaker with sound (if unspectacular) political actions than a skilled orator who delivers bad ideas with sugar on top.
Biden may have been an intelligent, competent politician when he was first elected to the Senate 120 years ago, but those days are just memories. They guy is an empty suit that was propped up by the media and so far his choices in delegation has been poor at best. The Democrats used COVID and the millions of deaths worldwide as an opportunity to further their political and ideological agendas.

I'd say Trump's denial of the pandemic, plus his inept handling of the crisis, played more of a role than Dems 'exploiting' the situation. It was Trump who lied that it would just go away, and pretended that it was just a flu. It was Trump who disbanded a White House pandemic response team Obama had set up. It was Trump who didn't have much of a plan for vaccine distribution. Oh, and let's not forget: Trump ignored health advice so wantonly that the White House became the heart of a COVID-19 outbreak.

As many, many political experts have put it, Trump was handed a political softball with the pandemic — all he had to do was take it seriously and show that his team could manage the response well enough. Instead, he pretended the pandemic wasn't serious and exploited the anti-science tendencies of the party, such as supporting those trying to "liberate" states from lockdown measures that saved lives.

Biden's definitely not perfect, but he maintains core levels of competence and intelligence that your man Trump never had. And it will burn you to know that he will likely remain much more popular than Trump ever was.

He is actually abiding by the protective measures, not openly defying them and sending mixed messages. And he did a great job of getting out the vaccine. Not his fault that we are stalled now below where we need to be because a bunch of Trump loving Republicans refuse to co-operate and get vaccinated. And yes, I do give Trump some credit for speeding development of the vaccine, but his roll out plans were very disorganized, and he badly undermined prevention efforts before the vaccine was ready.

Nick Allen, the recent author of the hard hitting "Can Scarlett Johansson save Hollywood from terminal decline?" article. The article and the author you linked are a joke.

If you are going to have a strong political opinion please be more informed.

I watched the G7 stuff and he's lost. Has anyone seen this crap. They actually laughed at the doddering old fool.
You know the thing! If you don't vote for me you ain't black!

Such treasured memories of stupidity. Quotes that are actively endorsed through the "look the other way" dipshits that exist here lol.
What drives you to such hatred for the stupidity you imagine you see in others. All that will do will be to make yourself frightened of the shame you would feel if you made a mistake yourself, and we always create what we fear, as you have done here. I wish I could help you to see that you can't be other than you are, afraid of being ashamed, because you were long ago and never should have been. Let go and feel it. See if that won't make you free. Even though you can't imagine it, there are people who wish folk like you and I the best.

I swear, Everytime I see you post stuff like this, I get this feeling that you are describing yourself as you look in the mirror, and you just swap out your name with whom ever and alter the details slightly to try and cover it up. It's almost like you use this board for your own personal therapy sessions, rather than seeing a real doctor or therapist. Please, go see a real doctor and/or therapist, because you need one.

Actually, we can do this. The number of ways in which we can cajole, pressure, withhold and intervene is pretty staggering (when we want to). Ignoring our political and military might, we pretty much own the international monetary system - after many attempts, the best even China has been able to do is hold on to about $5 Trillion in US currency and Treasury bonds (for a variety of reason, but a big one is to block US sanctions).

No, no you can't. You can try but if you think the biggest economy in the world is one you can fuck with then you are completely wrong.
