lol he literally has an ENTIRE history of being against progressive change - everything from drug use - to crime - to helping the poor - etc.. etc...
The fact that he has been in politics for a long ass time accomplishes nothing other than your ability to be a part of a political party and living in a safe state that always votes for your party.
It's just hilarious - because you clearly know this - hence why you didn't actually cite anything.
So what about his current policies? I wouldn't exactly call him AOC with gray hair, but nor is he repeating what he did before. Good politicians evolve... unlike, say, Trump.
And I'm not talking about sheer length (that can sometimes be useful, but not always) as just having experience, full stop. The Republicans have spent the past several years focusing their hopes on a leader whose qualifications were failing at business and hosting a reality TV show. Biden may be too much a part of the old guard, but he actually knows the basics of how government works and his civic duty; Trump kept trying to run the White House like another one of his businesses (complete with the corruption, self-aggrandizement and general incompetence).
Again, this started because conservatives keep obsessing over how Biden is supposedly senile based on his public appearances, but their 'champion' Trump is a worse public performer (his strategy is just to tell lies very loudly), clueless about most aspects of politics, and a pathological narcissist whose ego seriously damaged American democracy. You can claim the moral high ground when the Republicans actually accept some civic responsibility and value things like expertise over star power.
