No . . . I think you're looking for something deliberate when it is obviously hap-hazard, given his residual speech impediment and varied polish of his performance between impromptu and teleprompter. By contrast, Trump labors over the teleprompter, evidenced by his breathing and long inhalations. He can only do impromptu presentations best, and they are way out of bounds for being rude, brazenly false, or just stupid. Biden, on the other hand, might even be able to conceptualize the real mathematical relations and numbers he cites or comments, but the translation to speech is more abbreviated or contains simple omissions that would otherwise qualify them and defeat the criticism.Seems lying and making misleading claims arent exclusive to Republicans. His whole speech was filled with both.
Fact check: Biden's midterms message includes false and misleading claims (msn.com) (CNN)
Or maybe they were all just gaffes? To me, it just reeks of desperation.
Ah right. The time honored tradition of yeah my guy is bad but not as bad as the other guy.
So why did you make a thread about it?
Ah right. The time honored tradition of yeah my guy is bad but not as bad as the other guy.
So I missed this thread and I can't be arsed to read all of it so this might have been addressed.Ah right. The time honored tradition of yeah my guy is bad but not as bad as the other guy.
I don't see victory until I've seen the results after November 8. For me, it's not a victory of the Democratic Party, but a victory of Moral Choice. They can fret about abortion, about inflation, about Ukraine, about any number of things. But it's either a Moral Choice of someone else who hasn't been a lifelong criminal walking between the raindrops of Justice, or vacant, clueless fawning over a sociopathic, aspiring autocrat. And I obviously say this about a midterm election, but the GOP agenda is clear. One has to play it as an adversarial game, because you don't just get your smorgasbord choices with an extremist party who insist on having it all their way. This happens every once in a while. The MEGA around here stay well hidden, and stay silent, but we know they are lurking because... they show their face when they smell victory. They came out in 2016 after Trump won, and in 2020 not so much, and now we have a "perceived" MEGA victory looming and again they expose themselves.
What does this mean? I don't know... It's just weird.
Stretching the truth is something most politicians will do.
So why did you make a thread about it?
Correct. I could start locally, but meh. I voted mostly D for state positions this time. The R candidates are just...way out there.I’m glad blackangst finally cares about facts. It’s just too bad it took a democrat administration to get him there. I look forward to future posts by him where he points out other false or misleading claims by other politicians. I’m sure we’ll see quite a few covering Republican lies as well because blackangst isn’t a partisan hack, right blackangst?
Hell no I didnt.I'm gonna guess its because he's trying to justify why he turns out to be a lying sack of shit and voted for Kari Lake and multiple other 2020 Election deniers, because goddamnit Biden made him vote Republican!
Because Biden is the current POTUS. Ive made my opinion of Biden very clear. So why did you make a thread about it?
Because Biden is the current POTUS. Ive made my opinion of Biden very clear.
Yes I voted for Hobbs. Why? 1. Shes not an election denier. 2. Her view on education. 3. She's pro-choice. 4.She's a strong proponent of REAL border protection. i.e more funding for border patrol and border sherrifs. Supports providing dreamers a patch to citizenship. 5. She supports expanding voting ballot access. (Although I disagree with her on allowing former felons the right to vote). 6. AZ is one of a few states with no laws on the books to provide protection from price guagine. She wants to change that. 7. She wants to start state-wide negotions my allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices. Not by a long shot.
You yourself claimed to accept that election denialism was the single most dangerous lie, The red line you wouldn't cross. That you would vote in a way to ensure they wouldn't win.
What do YOU think? Not as bad as the election denial king?
You didn't vote for any independent candidate in AZ, did you? You voted for Hobbs? Why?

And again. When you have a choice of Biden vs Trump in 2024 are you going to make a MEANINGFUL vote against the single most dangerous election denialist? The source of it all? The motherfucking ringleader?
I hope youre not saying its EITHER rich people/corporations OR middle class. Are you? I mean, sure...the Trump tax cuts benifitted the rich. But it also benifitted the middle class.
\IRS data proves Trump tax cuts benefited middle, working-class Americans most (yahoo.com) (The Hill)
You call it throwing away my vote. I call it voting for a candidate whose p[inions mean the most to me. I dont play the "vote against a candidate". I play "vote for the best candidate IMHO'.You also made your opinion of election deniers very clear.
Again, will you make a meaningful vote against the chief election denier in 2024?
Or does your bias against Biden mean you'll vote for an election denier or throw your vote away on a third party candidate guaranteed to lose (which is really a vote for the election denier)?
for the record Im FOR lowering taxes for everyone. Including the rich.Comrade Justin failed to mention what happens when those tax cuts for the middle and low income classes expire while the highest income brackets cuts do not. Oh well, just an oversight. But hey, that <$1500/year is a win for anyone earning under $119k per year.
