Look at the tool using him as a source. I expect some similarly damaged tool/toolbag/toolshed, so yeah...totally fits expectations of the clown and his typical posts.I just looked at that guy’s Twitter and he’s a pathetic tryhard. He seems to think masks harm people, which is unbelievably stupid.
Besides being incredibly fucking stupid...he's also got a permanent victim complex. He's just SO oppressed! lolI am still amazed at how furiously dumb people like our good friend @s0me0nesmind1 fight against masks.
We have federal judges claiming that the CDC doesn't have the right to regulate health procedures on cruise ship, even though it is written in black and white in the CFR that they do. The federal bench is now a complete joke.On what grounds? It's already been determined that employers can require vaccinations, all federal employees are employed by the federal government. Also, Biden's mandate doesn't require them to be vaccinated, but if they chose not to, they are required to be tested every week and follow other protocols. Point is, they can file all the suits they want, they won't go anywhere.
Don't worry, most antimaskers think all the flu numbers were claimed to be COVID.If masks didn't work then why did we barely here about the seasonal flu this past flu season? Could it be that people were wearing masks as well as social distancing?
And the same type of people acted exactly the same about seatbelts, but then leave loaded guns around their house to "protect" their family.Face masks are like seatbelts and you're better off in a wreck with one than without one in the vast majority of instances.
I'd be willing to wager that some of them even wore seatbelts by habit for years, only to start complaining once it became law/regulation.And the same type of people acted exactly the same about seatbelts, but then leave loaded guns around their house to "protect" their family.
Sigh. I see this everyday. I come from the Yellowhammer state, which ranks dead last in terms of vaccination percentage and covid positivity. That same attitude has been our unofficial state motto for more than half a century - "We Shall Not Be Told." Yes, it is incredibly childish. Our other unofficial Motto, "Thank God for Mississippi", doesn't even help here as they surpassed us.I'd be willing to wager that some of them even wore seatbelts by habit for years, only to start complaining once it became law/regulation.
Something about, "Dey can't tells meh wut ta do!"
Yea, especially with the highly contagious delta variant, breakthrough infections are becoming increasingly common. Also it is being found that vaccinated people can carry a similar load of virus (hence infectious to others) as non-vaccinated, again especially with the Delta variant.Unless, you know, you still want to try to avoid getting infected still. Hardly insanity, unless you're just injecting your own ego into everything as usual.
Yea, the 100.00 reward is really annoying. Here in MN, the governor just announced they are giving a hundred bucks to those who get vaccinated now. Really unfair to those already vaccinated. It is especially unfair because I got vaccinated early, and spent many, many hours on the computer trying to get an appointment, before one was finally available. I got squat for being vaccinated, but now the holdouts who can get a walk in shot with no effort are getting rewarded? WTF. I guess it is worth it, but there should be some kind tax credit or something for those who got vaccinated earlier.I pretty much agree with the new federal employee/contractor requirements. Make it uncomfortable to remain unvaccinated. Not so thrilled with the $100 for each new vaccination as I'm a firm believer in not rewarding bad behavior, but I can live with it it it helps get us where we need to be.
"Biden said every federal government employee and on-site contractor will be asked to attest to their vaccination status.
Employees who have not been vaccinated 'will be required to wear a mask on the job no matter their geographic location, physically distance from all other employees and visitors, comply with a weekly or twice weekly screening testing requirement, and be subject to restrictions on official travel,' the White House said ahead of Biden's speech."
Biden announces measures to incentivize Covid-19 vaccinations, including a requirement for federal employees | CNN Politics
President Joe Biden on Thursday announced a number of new steps his administration will take to try to get more Americans vaccinated and slow the spread of coronavirus, including requiring that all federal employees must attest to being vaccinated against Covid-19 or face strict protocols.www.cnn.com
Yeah, it's like bribing your toddler with candy to get them to stop screaming in the checkout aisles at the market.Yea, the 100.00 reward is really annoying. I saw a meme a few weeks back along the lines of, "we're going to have to wrap the vaccine in cheese, aren't we?" I wish I could say I were surprised at how close it's come to being true.Yea, the 100.00 reward is really annoying. Expect more shit like this. What do you think the no. 1 accomplishment of the Trump admin and Mitch was?We have federal judges claiming that the CDC doesn't have the right to regulate health procedures on cruise ship, even though it is written in black and white in the CFR that they do. Exactly, the same reason they’re trying to pass laws saying they can overturn election results if things don’t turn out their way.Expect more shit like this. What do you think the no. 1 accomplishment of the Trump admin and Mitch was?
There is a paper in the NEJM this week that vaccinated people can easily transmit the delta variant. There's another from last week which stated that vaccinated people can still get sick from the delta but it's much less severe. Basically these papers are why the CDC is now requesting everyone indoors go back to masking.Seatbelts aren't really a great analogy (unless not wearing one endangers others, which it may well do). Drunk driving is a better one. Are there people who whine that they are not allowed to get hammered and go out driving? I'm sure there are. I can say from doing hundreds of bar gigs that there is NO shortage of inebriated--like, staggering and barely walking--people that pile into their cars at the end of the night. And the law rightly comes down on them severely (or should).
Taking a dump on the floor of a restaurant is another good comparison. You are endangering the health of others and have to sacrifice your animal need to poop on the spot in favor of going to the designated room--why, that's like herding someone to a concentration camp!!! Why aren't these same mask-protesting anti-vaxxer morons protesting this?
Actually, it is not that simple. The recommendation is for areas with more than a certain rate of infection or positive tests. Again, I think this is a mistake. It just sows more confusion. They should have just made it a nationwide request. (Actually they should have never removed the original mandate, but that has been debated in another thread.)There is a paper in the NEJM this week that vaccinated people can easily transmit the delta variant. It’s weird that you keep citing these cases as if they mean something. Do you remember all the nationwide injunctions that happened against Trump’s insane immigration policies?"The Biden administration’s mandate for federal contractors’ employees to be vaccinated will be halted nationwide, amid a slew of challenges from states that say the president overstepped his authority in requiring the Covid-19 shots. All of our legal experts here on executive power, were saying how president had all of this power. Lots of district judges said the same thing about the ACA - how did that work out for them? All of our legal experts here on executive power, were saying how president had all of this power. I am just reminding this same experts that might not be the case.
