Why should big tech companies help our education and training systems when they can get indentured servants for a lower cost? Did anyone really think that rich people and companies were fawning over Biden because they love the idea of paying higher taxes for nothing? The minor increase in taxes paid will be more than offset by Biden's influx of indentured servants and their cheaper cost of labor. No need to help develop a grass roots pipeline for a domestic workforce when you can get it cheaper and now. There are zero reasons to do this other than rewarding tech companies for their loyalties and they are not some holy grail of skills and education. Big Tech gets cheap labor that is not to the same level as US tech workers and a labor pool that is more loyal.
