I've never maxed my OH press but I do sets of 5 around 125-135. Bench press 5x5 is 225 and my max DL is 405. I haven't actually measured my arms but it's a pretty good guess, last time I measured my upper arms were 17-18". I'm about 230lbs.

Your OH press seems weak in comparision to your BP. Your DL should be higher for your other stats. But it's coming along.

Measure your arms. The difference between 17 and 18 is HUGE. But you weigh 230lbs so you'll be pretty big. How tall are you?

Functional strength rarely applies these days. Some people just want bigger arms because it gives them the appearance of being in shape. It's the way most (uneducated) base physical fitness on. Rarely does anyone see your legs.
Where do you live? It is summer in Florida, shorts and sandals are semi-formal wear right now.

And big arms can be functional without even considering strength. They improve defensive cover up when fighting stand-up - the added mass to strikes is good too(if you do not trade too much speed off) and they absorb punishment better than skinny ones.

I'm just a hair under 6' and at ~17%bf, most of my weight is in my legs, I think. I have pics in my workout journal when I was about 235 and 18% bf

I don't really measure my arms, but they're probably around 21 or 22". If I took crea-bulge it'd probably be closer to 27" each.

Pix?

There's no down side to having big arms.
Big thighs cause chafing, rashes, nut crunching, having to wear pants that are to big in the waist, uneven shoe wear...

Oh, but there is. When I bulked from 135lbs to 160lbs, the increased size of my arms actually began to cut off the blood supply to my forearms/biceps while I slept (with the way I sleep). It has taken some serious getting used to.

IMHO it's all about proportion. Those guys you see at the gym with hulking upper bodies and tiny little legs with no glutes. Those are the ones I was talking about anyways.

Problem with legs is genetics usually. My legs are more ectomorphic than I like, but they get strong.

Arnold and many other bodybuilders had to resort to calf implants 'alledgedly'.

I thought Arnold once said squats were all he really needed to have calf definition... maybe that was post implant. That might make sense. Beats me, never read it just hearsay.

Who knows.

I'm not sure if that applies to the entire leg, but I've definitely heard a LOT of people complain about genetics with regards to calf size. I definitely have a bit of the chicken-leg gene myself, although it's not horribly disproportional (fortunately).
