Following the lead of TallGeese and his threads on Xbox and Dreamcast deals I am going to try to maintain an updated list of deals related to the Nintendo Gamecube.

The guidelines, much like TallGeese's in the Xbox thread:

• No used items or auctions, please. Too much potential for abuse/scams.
• Any deal posted in the thread which constitutes or promotes fraud will earn a quick e-mail to the mods (and consequently a probable vacation for the poster). If you aren't sure whether your find is legal, PM me and I'll check it out before putting it in the list.

Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning:
Media Play has these little coupon type cards that the employees will pass out. The cards have some advertisement for the "xXx" movie. Ask for one and go to the website listed on the card(its a decoder type thing). Most of them have a $10 off $50 code. So grab a game normally listed at $49.99 and a pack of gum to get to $50. It will bring you 20% off the GameCube game.

NBA 2K2 is $14.99 at Target B&M.

Why is that? It boggles my mind.

It's like $209, which gets you like the memory card for free... not much, but if you're buying all of it anyways it's not bad.

BestBuy B&M has coupons available at all their registers, good for $5 off of any video game or video game accessory regularly priced $19.99 or greater. These are in their "Back to School" brochures/pamphlets/whatever, they're stacked up at the registers or elsewhere in the store (ask an associate if you cant find one). They expire on 9/1/02.

The memory card 251 is actually $19.95 (checked the website), items need to be $19.99 to qualify for the $5 coupon.
I decided to give it a try and the cashier noticed it was 4cents off, but she scanned the coupon anyway and it was marked down $5... Lucky me... Make sure you have a cool cashier and not somebody that looks strict.

Also, about the Gift Certificate recieved from KBtoys.com with pre-orders of certain games.
The website says "plus an electronic gift certificate for $10 off your next Nintendo GameCube GAME"
So it's not really a "gift certificate", just a discount on your next online game purchase from them. They actually make more money with it and try to convince you to get a game from them again.

Hork, This is what I know so far:
KBToys.com: StarFox Card + $10 off next GameCube game purchase (aka gift certificate, even though it isn't really one)
Toys R Us (in store): Super Mario Sunshine beach towel, acquired at the time you pre-order
Electronics Boutique (in store): Water Gun, acquired at the time you pick up the game

BTW, about the $5.00 my memory card 251. I checked the reciept and it showed that the coupon reduced $0.00 to the price. It says that the memory card is on sale for $14.95, but it didn't say it on the shelves where you get it or the ads. Thats what it says anyway, but the girl said that the coupon worked. I don't know now.
Anyway, I got my $5 off no mtter what, no worries for me!

I would like to note that the pre-order bundle for mario sunshine (with the gc wavebird coupon, strategy guide etc.) comes with a memory card 59, not a memory card 251. Just so ya know.

For canadians Waverace is $30 new @ EB (it's 70$ new at futureshop) and they got some other games there too cheap like Batman for $30, NHL Hitz was like $25 too

Cel Damage is 29.99 @ futureshop too

it's b/c they're coming out with nba 2k3... updated and i hear it's much better, but i'll prolly end up waiting until 2004 to get 2k3 since i already have 2k2.

can someone list where they've seen fifa 2002 for at best buy? i went to the one in northridge and they didn't have any in stock. someone, somewhere seen it? if you have, please reply or pm. thanks in advanced.

also, i went to best buy and picked up their "back to school" flyer... there was no $5 off coupon in there? does it just work? thanks again.

you will need the coupon, it won't just work... it's not a standard size advertisement like something you'd find in your sunday newspaper, it's a pamphlet... folded its about 3" by 9", folds out to five segments each 3" by 9". front of the pamphlet is blue with a giant red circle in the middle saying "BRING THE FUN BACK TO SCHOOL".
