@ $29.99 every GC owner should pick it up. Incredibly good FPS with multiplayer that is insanely deep; aforementioned makers of Golden Eye!

They did the discount without the flyer since they ran out. They claimed to know nothing about Blood Raynes MIR.... So I didn't get it.

It doesn't look like this has been mentioned yet, but I apologize if it has (only looked through the last two pages).

The game IKARUGA will be released for the gamecube in April 2003!!!

This is huge news for Treasure fans and/or old-school space shooter fans (you guys know who you are). Ikaruga is the sequel to Radiant Silvergun, widely regarded as the best space shooter ever made. Unfortunately, it was only released in Japan for the Sega Saturn. So unless you imported it, you were SOL (I shelled out the bucks and imported that baby). Ikaruga again was only recently released for the Sega Dreamcast in Japan. I was going to import that too, but it was rumored to be brought to the GC so I held out. Lucky us cause here it comes!

I don't even have a GC yet, but this game is definitely a system seller, IMHO. Looks like I'll be visiting this thread alot now!

Thank you so much for that info. I was about to order Ikagura here for DC. Been contemplating it for about a month. Hope they add more to it for GC.
Speaking of upcoming games, have you guys seen the previews for Killer 7. This cell-shading looks great. There are more screens elsewhere, the Dick Tracy looking guy looks great as well as a screen as a nun.

Went to BB today and I was able to pick up two copies of Beach Spikers for $9.99. Took my receipt into Circuit City and the manager went to the back to give my local BB a call. A few minutes later, he comes out and tells me that they had the game is in stock but only in limited stock. The manager continues to tell me that since it's in limited stock, he couldn't pricematch it. Crap on that! Either he's wrong or YMMV?

Im playing Timesplitters 2 right now, and I can tell you its been my fav christmas present so far (havent gotten to metroid yet, still blastin through the 900000 arcade modes of TS2) Absolute must buy, almost a shame its discounted already.

The deal with PM is that it depends on who you talk to. Some people are cool about it, but some people are anal. It wouldn't hurt to try again. Beach Spikers will obviously be in limited supply since it is so cheap.

Thanks much- I went to the new Gamecrazy in town and they were out of stock on the Gamecube Mario Sunshine bundle, so they gave me a regular GC and the game seperately. They were out of stock on SSX Tricky and the Memory Card 59 too, so for $20 they let me trade up for Super Smash Bros. Melee and a Memory Card 251 I feel as if I just paid $20 for those together. Gonna go back and get me a used Resident Evil for $20 tomorrow probably. Thanks for the heads-up on the bundle!

I don't mean to brag, but I got in on the $4.99 Hunter deal (to make up for buying Beach Spikers at $49.99 when it first came out). I would also note that you can get Star Wars Rogue Leader for $9.99 and NFL 2K3 or $19.99. I'm sure NFL 2K3 will go much lower in the coming weeks or months since the season is over and the Pro Bowl is this weekend. Good Luck!

Just picked up the last Hunter: The Reckoning for the GC for $4.99 + tax at the EB Games in Fresno's Fashion Fair Mall.

Also picked up Bloodrayne for $14.99, and there is a coupon for a $20 mail-in GC, so I made $5 on the deal!

They also had interact 59 block memory cards for the Gamecube for 5.87. I picked up one, but I'm wary of 3rd-party memory cards, so will use it for games I don't really care about.

Friend picked up Beach Spikers for me yesterday in portland. Said they had about 10 of em in the back, so ask if your there.

I read some reviews and it looks like hunter sounds like fun, but even tho theres some framerate issues in the GC balders gate (20$), which one is better?
