hmm for some reason my message didnt get posted yesterday, this is regarding the 30% off soccer slam at EB. I didnt see it. And for some weird reason soccer slam is nowhere to be found on the web. How could this get discontinued so quickly without any sorta markdown??? At amazon peeps are selling it for 70$.. and the sega site goes directly to amazon..
Any help snagging this title?? im now desperate!

I just got Sega Soccer Slam from SamGoody.com for $15.49 shipped. They're running a sale: 10% off, plus free shipping with 2 or more items. There's also a $5 off of $30 coupon floating around. Made my total $30.98 for the 2 games. They shipped quickly and the games look perfect. Unfortunately, Slam is currently showing as unavailable; could be it'll be back in stock, maybe worth checking on once in a while. Ditto for NFL 2K3 (19.99, currently unavailable).
I love the "10% OFF EVERYTHING*" sale. Doesn't include videogame consoles. That's not EVERYTHING, now is it? Damn Sam Goody. :| Thought I was gonna pull off a GBA SP order for cheap.Originally posted by: DahDee

I was just wondering the best place to pre-order Zelda at. Just went on EBGames and the price was over $60 once shipping was tacked on....I figure there has to be a better way than this. Please let me (and others who might be curious) know of any good deals, or if I should just bite the bullet and go with EB

Just wanted to confirm the "trade-in 3 games and get Zelda Windwaker free" deal at EB Games. If you've been getting some of the really great deals on this board, that lets you get the new Zelda for a very, very, very low price.
EB Games has an "exclusion list" of games that can't be traded in for this deal, but I was surprised that some of the games that they had been selling for practically nothing weren't on it. Here's what I traded in unopened:
Bloodrayne (from EB Games for $14.99 and I get a $20 GC for purchasing it -- made $5.00!)
Hunter the Reckoning (from EB Games for $9.99 minus $5.00 MIR = $4.99)
Beach Spikers (from CC after pricematching with BB's 9.99 price = $5.99)
Total: Since the price of Bloodrayne (-$5) and Hunter ($5) cancel each other out, it means I got the new Zelda for the price of Beach Spikers ($6) plus the tax I spent on those three games, plus the tax on Windwaker -- about $6 = ~$12!
So, it pays to get some of these deals just for their trade-in value on deals like this, not to mention that anything under $10 can be an awesome b-day present for someone else that has a GC!
